These are so yummy, and a great alternative than the regular fried cake donuts you get in donut shops...

Pumpkin Spice Donuts by Picky Nikki, on Flickr

Ingredients:

6 T skim milk + 3/4 tsp white vinegar
1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
1/4 c organic raw sugar
3 T unsweetened applesauce
2 T lightly packed brown sugar
2 T melted butter
2 t baking powder
1/4 t baking soda
1 3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 t sea salt (ground)
1 c all-purpose flour
1/2 c whole wheat pastry flour

Optional topping:
2 T melted butter
3 T raw sugar
2 T cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350'F, and bake for approx 10 min till donut bounces back up when pressed.

    Thanks for posting this, I totally adore everything with pumpkin but usually it is very high in calories in fat. I will definetly try these though :)

    Yes, I made them in a mini donut pan. Recipe made 24 mini donuts. You could make them in a mini muffin pan and enter the amount of servings into MFP to get updated individual calorie count. I had a bit of left over mix when I made them, but counted it anyways...

    Topping count is total amount of topping mixed and set out, but you do not use all of it, and did recipe inputs with the totals that I actually used (measured remaining butter and sugar)
