Will a big breakfast at IHOP adequately prepare me for my 3-hour endurance run/walk?

Will you tell us if it did once you’re done?

Well I finished, so I guess it must have, right? 😂
Didn't I also enjoy a barbecue after the race, which should help with my recovery?

It's only 8:30pm here, but aren't I headed to bed already?
    Didn't I get up at 3am, and hasn't it been a long day? 🥱😫😴

Aren't you silly getting up at 3 am?

Isn't that the middle of the night?

Isn't it twelve hours later now, and I feel rested though rather sore as well?

Didn't my wife's gallbladder surgery have complications resulting in pancreatitis? Wasn't it explained to me as basically a painful experience she simply has to live through with fluids, painkillers and antibiotics? Don't I feel somewhat guilty for not spending every waking moment with her, since she spends most of her time asleep and I still have to maintain the house (groceries, cooking, dishes, laundry) as well as devote time to the kids/dogs?

Don’t you know she probably appreciates that you’re taking care of everything so she can just rest and recover without guilt herself?

@nossmf Aren't I sure she understands and like Cat said she appreciates what you are doing? But isn't you feeling this way what makes you a good husband? Don't I hope she has a speedy recovery and no more complications? ♥️

Between her being hospitalized for almost a week, plus me camping the week before that, hasn't it been almost two weeks since I last slept beside my wife? After 20 years of marriage, doesn't it feel odd not having her by my side at night?

Done with yoga, now my walk, then coffee maybe?
    Who wants coffee? ☕

Aren’t I almost always up for coffee?

Isn't that backwards? Isn't coffee supposed to get you up, not the other way around?

Isn't that just another example of the confusing English language?

Isn't coffee supposed to get you going, so you got to get up to get coffee to get going? 😂

Having just finished a mocha frappuccino, aren't I sitting poolside in the shade with a nice breeze, waiting for my water aerobics class time to arrive? 😎
Why don't I do this more often? 🤔

Don't I feel ill if I try to exercise with anything in my stomach? For that reason, don't I prefer to exercise first thing in the morning, fasted, then eat/drink once done?

Wasn't I pleasantly surprised to receive a call during my drive home from work saying my wife would meet me at home, no longer at the hospital? Won't I have to get used to the noise of the oxygen machine she needs to sleep for a few more days? Could I care less about the noise?

Well isn't that a nice surprise? Did she drive herself home from the hospital? And aren't I back to work - bright and early this morning?

Didn't my son's girlfriend give her a lift home? Didn't my boss agree to let me take the rest of the week off to be with her, minus a couple meetings I can attend by dialing in from home?

Know what else is heart warming? A broken air conditioning warms the heart, the head, the feet...is there anything broken AC doesn't warm?

Were you trying to get me to spit out my ice cream? 😂 Wasn’t that a close call?

Are you able to get it fixed soon while being able to keep your arm and your leg??

Aren't you glad you don't live in Austin, Texas, @nossmf, where the high today was 97° and the high on Sunday is expected to be 104?

Aren't I fortunate that the 10-day forecast in the California Central Valley has changed for the better, so that now only Sunday will reach 100℉ and the rest stay in the 90's?
Didn't I have dim sum at a nice little restaurant in Austin many years ago?
But aren't my culinary memories of Texas more along the lines of brisket, big chunky peppered beef jerky, pecan pie, and a delicious not-so-Texan dessert called Crumpet's Delight (at Crumpet's Restaurant in San Antonio)? 😋😋

So, high 30's for those of us in celcius?

isnt most of the modern world in metric now?

Somehow, 37-39℃ just seems too cold to me, doesn't it?

Doesn't it though? Didn't a bunch of us meet for dinner last night? Wasn't the walk back to the hotel steamy? And aren't I glad I'm leaving here on Tuesday before the temperatures hit 104°? (Isn't that 40° C for those of you in the modern world?)

Wasn’t last summer the first time this part of the modern world hit 40° C and can’t I confirm that I never wish to feel it again??? 😅

Wasn't I tempted to rent Jurassic World Dominion yesterday, until I saw they wanted $19.95 for the rental?

Didn't the weatherman lie to me? Contrary to the previous 10-day forecast, won't it be 103℉/39℃ today and tomorrow, and 101℉/38.5℃ the following two days? Isn't that why I'm now enjoying a venti espresso frappuccino this afternoon?
