New vegan (low-fat, no oil). Learning to cook all over again! Loved the documentary PLANEAT and highly recommend watching it! Also love the new cookbook "Peas and Thank You" - wonderful recipes that include real food and actually turn out right :o)

  • I'm pescetarian, to be safe. Most every day, I eat according to a strict non ovo-lacto vegetarian diet. However, come Christmas time, Thanksgiving, and birthdays during the celebration feast, I tend to eat salmon, and sometimes shrimp. I saw other pescetarians posting in here, so I figured (even though we're not in the thread title) that it would be OK to post. :)

  • Hi!
I'm a vegetarian. Started when I was about 19 (on and off vegetarian). After a period on low carb, I'm now back to vegetarian life again  I've not eaten meat for 10 months, and hopefully soon I'm a vegan.

    Veggie of 11+ years here!
  • Relatively new vegan. So far I'm enjoying food that was designed not to contain animal products much more than recipes that were meant for meat but I'm open-minded.

LOL! Sounds like me. Though not 100% vegan, I'm working on it. Hard to balance the meals when you both don't have the same diet.
