Making recipes

Hey there, I don’t know if it’s the right forum.
I am using the free version of the IOS app and would like to know if it is possible to make recipes as in grams / lbs and not per person?
It would help a lot to set it per grams of the dish.
(Maybe on the premium?)
Thanks a lot.

You can enter the weight of your dish (in grams) as the number of servings.
So if your dish weighs 1585 grams cooked and you eat a serving of 425 grams:
- number of servings in the recipe = 1585
- number of servings added to your diary = 4250 -
You can enter the weight of your dish (in grams) as the number of servings.
So if your dish weighs 1585 grams cooked and you eat a serving of 425 grams:
- number of servings in the recipe = 1585
- number of servings added to your diary = 425
Thank you for the reply.
But as far as I remember the iPhone app limit is at 100 servings, any way to change it?.

I'm not an iPhone user, so I wouldn't know about that. Can you enter decimals for the number of servings in a recipe? If so, I'd try using 100gr as a serving unit instead of 1gr?
For the example above:
-> recipe = 15,85 servings?
-> your serving = 4,25 servings?
PS: a totally alternative method (which I prefer) would be to use the Meals functionality instead of the Recipes - add all your ingredients to a meal in the future in your diary, then save the meal (I put the weight of the finished dish in the name of the meal, on top of the name of the meal). You can then delete the full meal from your diary, and log your own serving (425/1585 = 0.26814 servings).0
