Things went reasonably well this week. Making my intake and strength training/step goals. Tomorrow I leave for a family vacation. Not sure if I'll be bringing the scale with me or not. Will have to see if it fits with everything else in the luggage.

I can relate! My husband canβt, so that doesnβt helpβ¦he has snack before dinner and dessert afterwards EVERY NIGHT! Those have taken their toll on me now that Iβm olderβ¦canβt just lose 10 pounds βlike thatβ anymore. Hang in thereβ¦persistence pays off.2 -

Morning all,
Clean slate new start 40kgs to drop 48 weeks to do it in to be fabulous at 50 years old.

I worry about when I finally get into the maintenance area. I've been there twice and drastically failed. But I learned alot and I'm positive 3rd times the charm. I'm only an inch taller than you and can't imagine myself at the weight you are. Congrats!! I'm aiming for 175lbs. if I'm lucky.
You've given yourself a 5lb. range so I think this is good. Some body fluctuations are out of our control so you could be up 1/2 lb one day and down 3 lbs the next. I would take care but not let that flashion sign in your head take control. Happy days in maintenance mode!!5 -

You will gain and lose the same five (or three or ten or whatever) pound over and over. That is success, and it's maintenance. Weird cookie compared to always going down. Welcome! You can DO THIS. Keep an eye on things, and don't beat yourself up when things go sideways. Dust off and keep going. You know how to do this. You just don't get the reward of lower numbers all the time.
