Exercises for hips

I'm wondering what exercises are good for the hips? I have a deposit of fat on my hips that I'd like to get rid of.
I do a lot of cardio so should I add strength training, maybe, to tone it?

    Cardio for sure, the only way to get down to the muscle/bones is to lose the fat around it.

    Weights will maintain/hold onto the muscle you have, but you'll wanna lose the fat above it (so muscles will only STAY what they're at, or get smaller). Assuming you're doing cardio, and losing weight.

    Then learn some Shakira dances, so when they really pop you can show em off.
    FYI her hips don't lie.

    Belly dance (or more appropriately Raks Sharki)--not Shakira :(. True Belly dance will certainly work those hips! Been doing it for 4 years now!
  • Obv you can't spot reduce but maybe Zumba?
