    Total loss for August
    Scale was up the last two days, and it's higher than the one-day weight at the end of July. That's OK. My rolling average weight is down about two pounds for the month, and that feels good.

    Not the best way to finish up the month, but it is what it is. My focus for September is to buckle down as I'm headed out on vacation for 2.5 weeks in October where I'm pretty sure I'll be eating out quite a bit and having a number of full day travel days (either plane or car) where I won't be getting my exercise.

    Well for a scale spike, so I'm 0.5 why of making my goal... oh well, I'm thankful/grateful I've shed 6.8 pounds over the month, especially considering the vacation and then the post-vacation difficulties.

    My name is Donna. I am 62 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall.

    Start Weight (from end of July 2022 ): 201.6
    Goal Weight: 196.6 (5 pound loss)
    End of Challenge Weight: 200.0
    Ultimate Goal Weight: 145-155 (I’ll know it when I get there!)



    Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.

    08/26-199.6-(Trend Weight: 200.1)- I am still going through so much travel in regards to medical and the upcoming wedding. I am, however, trying to make good choices on the road. I’m also making everyday at home count since that is my β€œsafe place”. I am trying hard to only keep quality low cal, carb conscience foods in the house for me but it’s not easy when you don’t live alone. All things considering, I’m doing okay and weight is going down slowly. I miss exercise. I have to do cardiac rehabilitation under medical supervision to reintroduce it. I’m not even allowed to take walks! That is not helping! That makes my diet all the more important. I tweaked my goals in MFP and adjusted my macros as it seemed a bit high on the carbs. I may have to tweak it a few times to get it right.

    08/31-200.0-(Trend Weight: 199.9)- Down 1.6 pounds this month. That is a far cry from my 5 pound goal, but it’s been a horrendous month which even included a surgery so I will take what I can get and be proud of it. See you in September, as the song says.


    Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!
