Hey, everyone. You all have been doing great! I've been MIA here but active on my other teams so I've still been doing ok. But, I don't think I'm going to reachy my 8 pound goal as I would still have to lose 5.7 pounds in 5 days. Don't think that's going to happen:happy: (Not unless I get the flu, that is:bigsmile: ) So, I'd also like to continue on here with another challenge.0

Kelly-Same with you :laugh: (looks like I wasn't alone in not making the best choices for a little bit ) But time to get back at it...we can all do this together :drinker: WTG on your progress so far, that's awesome. Doesn't it feel great? :bigsmile: I've been pulling clothes out of the closet that I havent been able to wear for years. They were too tight and now they're lose :smokin: :drinker: :bigsmile:
Anyway......I did terrible Monday.....I went 130 over my MAINTAIN calories (even with my workout stupid PaPa Johns ), Tuesday I did good (had 60 calories left :drinker: ), Yesterday was not so good (went over by 300 stupid carrot cake Steve made me make :grumble: I brought it into work and gave it to my coworkers today though :smokin: ), Today I have everything l planned and am doing a 90 minute workout and 2 mile walk and I'm only logging 70 minutes of workout to hopefully kinda sorta make up for yesterday (I know it doesnt really work that way but it will make me feel better anyway:bigsmile: :laugh: ) Sooooo whatever, I can't change what's done...all I can do, is move on, and get back on track. And I will...no ifs, ands, or buts about it, I am doing this and starting today! :drinker:

Okay, I'll fess up :grumble:
Monday-stuck with my calories but no exercise (unless you count driving around in a golfcart )
Tuesday- calories good, 30 minute walk pushing a wheelchair with a client in it, BUT.. hurt my knee that was already bothering me.
Wednesday- woke to my knee swelled and a pretty purple color, calories good, no exercise
Today- well who knows what today will bring, I work this afternoon and trust me that is a workout just not the kind we count on here. My knee is still swelled and still pretty and purple, so who knows!
I weighed myself just to make sure the no exercise hadn't made me gain and so far I've maintained this week's weight loss so that is good!
Hope everyone has a great day...and no sweet tea....*cough* T *cough* (sweet tea is the enemy..but oh gosh how I love it's liquid torture... )

I haven't had Sweet Tea since September - I might just have to get some sugars in today - you know since I've been sick and all..... Sweet Tea was my vice - I gave it up because I was drinking 64 - 96 oz a day of it - if I can't have the real deal it's not worth having. But now I don't even crave it anymore.
Actually I am not so sure I can stomach anything sweet yet....I am holding in my food today but with that yuck feeling :sick: - but it's staying so that's big improvement.
Everyone do an extra squat or sit up for me!
I reviewed my net calories and no wonder I was loosing so slow - I was UNDER 1200 net calories 19 of 30 days and well under some of those when I exercised. Hopefully this tummy bug will restart everything and I'll be more careful. Here I was lecturing my husband that he wasn't eating enough - ooops!0 -

:happy: I am so excited! I am four pounds away from my St. Patty's goal! I didn't even login last week because I did so horrible, but let me tell you how I turned that around:
I work Nights, and sleep while my son is at school, but I always wake up around noon starving. Last Friday, I woke up, went to the bathroom and was thinking about what I could eat. Of course, there was absolutely nothing quick to fix, no bread for a sandwich, etc. So the first thing that popped into my head was the box of chocolates I never opened from Valentine's day. I stood up and ended up stepping on the edge of my very heavy glass digital scale. It flipped up into the air and landed on my foot. It hurt so bad, I was in tears, and I screamed as loud as I could: ALRIGHT!!! I WON'T EAT THE CHOCOLATE!!!
My aunt says that God was throwing the scales at me, trying to get my attention! Whichever, it definitely worked. I have stayed on plan and stucked to exercising, and the scales are showing it!0 -
