Push up challenge

So, I've only ever been able to do "girl" push ups. I've worked my way up to being able to do a few on my toes thanks to Jillian Michaels but my goal is to be able to do 50 real push ups in a row. I downloaded a push up app for my droid phone that is supposed to help you work your way up. Today, day 1, I did 17 in small sets with 60 second breaks. I'm hoping to do this in a month! Anyone want to join me? You can set the goal to whatever you want.

We did a push up challenge for boot camp. Worked our way up to 100. I increased the numbers I did on my toes but had to finish the 100 on my knees. It really helped me with the "big boy push ups"0

You enter in your goals and the number that you can do now before you are exhausted and it comes up with 4 sets to do with 60 second breaks. I didn't need the whole 60 seconds each time. My wrists hurt but I really hope to be able to do this.0

Yep, there's a sit up app too! I'll start that one tomorrow too.0

I did day 2 today. 20 push ups broken into 4 sets 5,4,6,5 with 75 second breaks. I didn't need the whole break time but the pushups were hard!0

Anyone still doing this? I'm up to 28 push ups (broken into sets but that is still awesome for me). My wrists and shoulders are so sore but I'm not quitting!0
