Hi, I’m Kayla

Hi! I’m Kayla. I am a full time mom to two boys. My husband and I have been married for 9 years. We live in Iowa.

We are generally a healthy and active family. I lost my postpartum weight, but I’m finding that it’s coming back on. I am hopping on my fitness pal to track my eating to try to better gauge how many calories I am eating and how I can adjust.

We weight lift four times a week, I’m hoping to add running back in 1-2x/week. I just started a photography business, and I believe the added stress of a new business has me seeking comfort in sugar. I am hoping recording my food will be enough accountability for me to make some changes.

    Hi Kayla. Sounds like you are definitely on the right track given what you shared. There are always those ups and downs. I had been on MFP years ago and had some great success but then I took the community and support for granted and thought I was good to be on my own. Well I am paying for it now. I am older and married - 2girls and 1 boy. We recently invested in a squat and bench rack and bought some bumper plates for the garage. Slowly getting into it.
    I would welcome the support and will be happy to support you.
