Omg, I can't believe cauliflower costs $6 there too! I'm used to our groceries being more expensive than the US.
For a couple of weeks I was craving cauliflower but could I find one? Three different supermarkets and not a cauliflower to be seen. It was bizarre. Then I was in a fourth store and they had a few so I grabbed one... at $5.99... but I was desperate at that point. The cauliflower was "Mr. Lucky" brand so I've called the thing Mr. Lucky ever since.0 -

The produce madness continues. I paid $2.28 for a 230 gram red pepper. For that price I think I'll eat the stem and the seeds too.1

e.l.f. cosmetics is having one of their super sales. I think of e.l.f a great source of not-awful disposable cosmetics - especially handy for travel or multiples. Where else can you score a great two-colour eye brow kit for $1.60 USD?! Or a nice-quality TSA-friendly powder foundation for $4 USD?0

Yikes! My garden was overrun with hot red peppers this year -so much so that a good bit ended up in the compost pile. I've got dried peppers, pickled peppers and frozen peppers. Who knew I was sitting on a gold mine?!0 -
