Every goal is realistic!!

Keep those so called " unrealistic goals " just because someone else feels you can't reach them doesn't, mean that you won't ! Keep pushing ! I was 235 lbs when I started my journey in 2017 , and yes I've had a Rollercoaster of a journey , I've quit 2 separate times since 2017 , and in 2021 is when I buckled down and really took it seriously. Even quit drinking alcohol for a year!! Since 2021 I've lost over 50 lbs . And there's so much more to accomplish. Now I realize losing 20 30lb in a month is , well yeh accomplishable . If you starve yourself and over run your body , but in then end it won't last and leads to binge eating .. try 8lbs in a month even 10 , then when you reach that , set a new goal to lose 10 more and so on and so forth, I find it easier if you cut it in to pieces.. but don't let anyone tell you you can't do it .. there's just a certain way to do it 🙂🤠 I've learned so much during this journey , super grateful to have come this far and Happy to share some encouragement!

No I cant agree with this.
Some goals ARE unrealistic
Breaking a realistic goal into increments is fine, lots of people look at it that way - so, if you have, say 100 lb to lose and you set a mini goals of 20lb by Easter or suchlike and then set another one and so on.
But the sort of nonsense the media peddles. like lose 20lb in a week!! - that is unrealistic and we often do tell people that.10 -
I think a better way of stating it is "keep the goal, but avoid the timeline." Life always throws us curveballs, and things go sideways, but if we keep working towards those goals every single day, there is no reason for "you" to listen to the naysayers.
It is easier, however, to keep lofty goals to yourself and work on them in the background, because as soon as you talk about it, there will be someone(s) in the room telling you why you "can't" - generally has more to do with the fact that they couldn't/didn't, but regardless, it gets disheartening to hear that all the time. Putting in the work quietly is lonely, but empowering when things start to come to life!
Often it's not so much the goal that is impossible, but the timeline might be (such as losing 20 pounds in a week) - losing the weight is not impossible, doing it in that timeline is short of cutting something off LOL.8
