NO LATE NIGHT SNACKING - JANUARY, 2023 CHALLENGE

If you haven't seen this challenge before, let me brief you about it:
What you have to do to change the way you feel about your eating at night:
- decide what late night snacking means to you (could be either bingeing, if you're inclined to it or simply eating anything at all after a certain time; some may find that having a healthy snack after dinner is perfectly alright and be upset only when they go overboard)
- report in the thread. We post by the formula:
Me: X vs. LNS: Y,
where X is "how many evenings you stuck to it" and Y "the times late night snacks won".
You may want to also add a * to the latest number. Feel free to also post streaks of how many days (in a row) you've managed to be free of late night snacking
It's as simple as that. Or as complicated , as you will discover. Nevertheless, the persistence and good results of some of our "old" members (and some people keep coming back) show that the battle is worthwhile!

Hi, My weight, sleep habits and the way I feel when I wake up are SO much better when I don’t snack at night. So I love the sound of this challenge.

Wow would love to participate. Just seeing this but have a ginormous problem with late night snacking. Motivating to see I’m not alone and taking it day by day. I can’t even remember the last time I haven’t LNS!!! 😵💫

I am happy w early dinner (unless I get home late and didn't eat out) and no more snacking afterwards. Aiming for IF 16/8, so the earlier the dinner, the better 🙂.

Hi! I’m joining this challenge. I lost 50 pounds 5 years ago. In the past 6 months or so I’ve gained all of those pounds back. It’s time to redouble my efforts and get back to my healthy weight. Late night snacking is problem for me recently. I used to be steadfast and able to resist the urge. One quick question: is there a join this challenge button I click on to join.

Joining! My mindless, unhealthy, and unnecessary eating happens at night. My rules for myself are going to be no snacking on the couch. If I have anything after dinner, it will be at the table with my family. This will prevent mindless eating/snacking, especially just because something sounds good.
The last time i lost a significant amount of weight (80 lbs), I didn't eat anything after dinner.
Since I'm finding this at 5 am, I will start tonight!

I let my husband know my plan, so I have his support. That helps! Tea with no calorie sweetener is my "treat" if I'm craving something sweet.
