What's Your Non-Diet/Health/Fitness New Year's Resolution?
Mine is to do some serious clothes culling. I have more clothing than I could ever realistically wear. Do I really need eight winter coats? Or thirty-two button-front short-sleeve shirts? Or enough beach-wear to move to Miami?
I picture that cartoon devil and angel pair on my shoulders.
😇 : You haven't worn that red corduroy shacket in five years. Donate!
😈 : Try it on. Oooo! Feel how soft? See how it drapes perfectly over your hips and would be just the thing to wear to that imaginary Fall wine-tasting festival you'll never attend? Keep!

I resolve not to give more help than people want. I resolve to let people sink or swim according to their own effort.
I will not remind you that that bag is out of your budget.
I will not plead with you to keep your promise to yourself about exercise.
I will tell you the truth that I believe you are capable of achieving great things but I will not try to prove it to you.4 -

I'm a bit of a planner / goal planning junkie
- start doing scheduled bi-annual declutters instead of randomly attacking areas of my house
- do more writing and reading practice with my son
- work on my handwriting, its just hideous and always annoyed me
- finally finish a few decorative and crafting projects I bought stuff for but never followed through on
- improve the way I track my financies
- read 6 books and complete 2 puzzles1 -

I am taking lessons and doing 2 lease rides a week at a farm nearby. I had some bad experiences with the youngster I got 2 years ago, and sold her last year. It's been a process getting past all that, I lost alot of confidence during that adventure. My "goals" aren't real specific at the moment, just sort of a general direction - gain confidence, keep improving my seat, save money for the day when I am ready to buy a horse again0 -

Not a resolutioner. Most immediate goal is to finish tearing out the carpet in my office at home. Which needs to be done before next project can start since it involves the sewing machine, which is in the office.0 -
