Hi Donna! Thanks for keeping us rolling!4 -
I am a 5'3" retiree living in upstate NY.
I started tracking again with MFP in January 2022 and have lost 65.3 lbs to date.
My final goal weight is 135-140.
January 3 2022: 230
March 7: 216.6
June 3: 196.4
Sept 2: 182.8
Oct 28: 175.4
Jan 27 2023: 164.7
@rubyred427 – Thank you for continuing the challenge for another round!
This is my 5th consecutive round of this challenge and I'm looking forward to staying on track through the rest of the winter. I managed to make my 10 pound goal last round so my goal for this round will be another 10 pounds.
My usual weigh in day is Friday.
My ultimate goal weight is 135-140 pounds. I hope to get relatively close to 145 by late June when I have my annual physical and will discuss my final goal weight with my Dr at that time.
Good luck to all on this round. I wish you all the greatest success!
Challenge Goal: 10 lbs (154.7)

I would like to join, did really well last year and lost about a stone, calorie counting and running. Unfortunately for the last 5 weeks I have not been able to go running, as have managed to get a stress fracture in my foot, so the weight has crept on again. Hoping when I can get back running in a few weeks, the weight loss will be easier.

I was reporting my weight weekly on Fridays but I will change to Wednesdays since it's Feb 1 tomorrow. Thank you RubyRed for continuing this challenge. So many of us appreciate it whether we are losing weight or not. At least it keeps us thinking about our health.
My goals for this time period: 1. Lose these 15 lbs once and for all! 2. No alcohol whatsoever. It has started to give me A Fib which scares me witless. 3. Continue to drink lots of water. I bought a fun cup which changes colors when cold which I've been using. 4. Daily stretches and walking. 5. Some sort of weight lifting (these are little weights but better than nothing) every other day. 6. Write down every thing I eat and drink here in the food diary.
I intend to report in and be accountable.

@deepwoodslady Thank you for your organization! I am going to use your framework below!
I am Naomi and I am 44 from Vermont! I am 5'3" and looking to lose 10 pounds over the next three plus months. I lift weights 4-5 times per week as well as do cardio. I think I will ramp my cardio up with some HIIT workouts to try to change things up a bit. I would also like to add in 5 minutes of stretching at night before bed to start. Start small and add!

@RubyRed427 Thank you for this challenge.
I am happy with my January round and not only lost 5% of my total weight, I feel more energetic, more active than I have felt in the last few years (which were not good for my health for various reasons).
In this round, I'm focusing on fitness, apart from losing another 5% of my total weight.
During these 3 months of challenge, I've started to exercise, and walk, (even if it is within the confines of my home).
I wish everyone a happy 3-months' challenge and wish them all the success in this journey of becoming healthy.8 -

Good Morning February 1, 2023!
I am excited to join in with all of you to meet our goals. The support, comraderie and accountability helps (for me anyway) and I’d really like to achieve at least a 10lb loss over this new Challenge.
As always, thanks to @RubyRed427 for keeping this group going🙏
Female, 56yrs old(on the 15th) and 5ft 5in.
SW 157.2 Feb 1, 2023
GW 147.2 April 30, 2023
Steps to reach this Goal:
1)Log all food
2)Walk at least 45min every other day
3)Do Strength training every other day that I don’t walk. Sundays off😊
4)Weigh ins on Wednesdays
Other habits to change:
A -Clean out kitchen cupboards today and get rid of the brown sugar and baking ingredients! Do not buy boxes or packages of sugar treats at grocery stores when I’m stressed thinking I can have ‘just one’
B- Eat a piece of fruit in the evening when I crave deserts and sugar.
C- Try a walk after dinner to help lower blood sugars after my meal.
I have a Doctors appointment next week for my physical and hoping my blood sugars cholesterol and BP are not too bad!
Have a great first week of challenge👍

Menu choices can be deceiving, especially salads. We were out for lunch yesterday and I saw ahi tuna salad on the menu and it sounded pretty healthy until I saw it had nearly 1100 calories!!! Sp I opted for the ahi tuna tacos which were more like 600. In my head, the tortillas were more caloric but they were actually small and the amount of stuff you can put in them was much smaller than a salad would have been. Had seltzer with a splash of cranberry juice in lieu of wine (lets be honest...it would have been 2 wines) which saved a couple hundred calories as well. I will continue to not drink my calories as much as I can. I just cannot drink black coffee so I am not giving up my half and half. One must have SOME pleasures in life!
Good luck to everyone on this journey to better health. We are all in this together!10 -

I've been the same weight for 3 mornings in a row. It is hard not to get discouraged. I was hoping for at least a couple of ounces off! I suppose I should look at the glass half full though; at least I haven't gained any.

Happy, healthy Friday to all!
I have learned in this journey of weight loss that patience and consistency are virtues and scales don't always tell the truth, clothes do. So, I keep trying those clothes that I was unable to wear 3 months ago and it is hugely satisfying to see those clothes fitting now. My aim is to make them loose fitting

Really happy with this week's loss. I can't figure out why but it was a very hungry week for me. Earlier in the week I ate back most if not all of my exercise calories for several days so overall my caloric intake was up. I guess my body just needed that extra calorie boost.
I'm leaving on Sunday to visit my sister in Florida for 12 days so I will miss my weekly weigh-in next Friday. My goal is to not gain any weight while I'm away. Will be eating out more than usual but will also be doing a lot more walking than usual.
Have a great week everyone!

I'm MJ, female, 5'4, turning 53 this month. My weight has been yo-yoing up and down the past couple of years but hit an all-time high last April that knocked some sense into me. I've been consistent with my goals since then, but am not being strict, taking it slowly. I am not on a diet but instead working to find the balance of a healthy lifestyle that is sustainable for the long-term.
