I’m a little late to the challenge, but I’d like to join!
Feb. first starting: 162.2
End of April goal: 149
Ultimate goal: 129 (I think… won’t fully know until I hit it and am content with it!)
Feb 8/23 - 161.4
My goal for February is to track everyday and fall below 160. Starting out slow, with plans to add exercise as the weeks progress. In 2021 I lost over 25lbs, but gained almost 20 back - working on making lifelong changes to reach my goal and maintain!7 -
@monrl Those sound like achievable goals. Welcome!2

@200Karen Mmmm I love herbal tea or teas in general. One of my favorites that you can get on Amazon is Good Earth Sweet & Spicy. They have a caffeinated and non-caffeinated version! SO GOOD!!!!!

GOODNESS to everyone!7 -
Good Morning🙂
Stats…F…57yr…5’5”t
Week #1 Progress:
01/02/23 SW = 157.2lbs
08/02/23 TW = 156.6lbs
Loss = 0.6lbs
Well, I’m surprised I lost anything at ALL, as I went well over my caloric intake on several days due to the sugar binge eating. However I did manage to get a couple good 50-60 minute walks done and also 2/60 minute strength workouts with stretching a a little meditation after.
I have a well established pattern of bingeing on SUGAR every week (even everyday…and not just small amounts!)due to some emotionally painful life stressors. After the binges I usually get migraines the next day and this sets me up for feeling physically and mentally unwell for a few days and the cycle continues. I have yet to succeed in breaking this pattern.
It all comes back to self love and self care, above all else I’m thinking🤔
Anyway, tomorrow is my 1st physical exam since 2020…..A wee bit concerned about blood sugars and pain in the liver/gallbladder/pancreas area. Fingers crossed that tests are ok
Have a great week.

Great February goals. I’ll join you with everyday tracking.
@nayOm3 LOL that’s my herbal tea. Going on 3 years drinking it Almost like an addiction 😍
What do you think of isometric weights? I’m researching and applying upper body isometric exercises. Hopeful this will be something for my older age.

Hello Everyone,
I'd love to join this challenge. I need help with motivation and accountability... :-).
3 months is a great start for me. I'm sure I'll loose weight if I JUST stick to tracking and my program for only 3 months!!!
I am a 58 Yr old female struggling with staying on task! I've gained 30 pounds after Menopause! :-(
I need to loose 50 pounds total and have been working on it for a year already and only lost about 8 pounds. I just cant stay focused long enough to make any progress. I'm going to focus on 3 short months and see how much progress I can make. 1 month at a time. I'd love to make some friends and have an accountability partner too.
I will try my best to not let my daily life get in the way and stop my weight loss. Here we go!!

Hi! I’m Rebecca and happy to join this challenge. The accountability really helps me. 15 lbs over 3 months sounds like a good goal. I started doing intermittent fasting on Nov. 1 and have lost about 20 lbs so far. I’m 43 and live in St. Louis, MO.

@ggmoo welcome sending best wishes for your health goals For me it’s daily tracking of exercise & nutrition remembering my 4+ veggies. I make protein smoothies adding veggies if needed
@nay0m3 thanks for the friendly welcome 🥂
@LittlePyne fly wheel? You have me googling that one 🏋️♂️
@linzbecky123 👋 here’s to you and our new week 🥳
Today I’m doing double duty with watching my neighbor’s 2 Boston terriers Day 6 of 11. Then tomorrow I’ll be visiting another neighbor that had a stroke while her DH runs errands.
I will need to take care and not get overwhelmed that’s when I overthink and overeat.
Have a great day

I need this challenge to lose 15 pounds by April when I turn 80. That's an awesome birthday, and I want to be at my healthiest weight when that day comes. I am 5'3" and currently weigh 166. Fifteen pounds off would do wonders for my body and my spirit. Let's get er done!9

Then maintained until summer 2021. Since then, I swapped around some daily medications and thus my weight fluctuated- going up. Starting 2023, I hit 150lbs — and have recommitted to tracking, weighing and using macros to get that extra weight off. Looking for continued success in 2023. Glad to be here ;-)

Since Jan 2,, I have been carefully weighing my meals and counting my calories. I have been seeing consistent albeit slight shifts in fat loss both in my inches and my # on the scale. I am really happy with my progress.
For the next 10 days, I will be relying on estimation and restaurants’ posted calories. I am hoping it doesn’t add a whole lot of pounds that I will need to turn around and lose. I am going to balance that with enjoying my time away.
If #s shift upwards, I’m committed to sticking with my plan to lose 15 in 3 months- let’s go!

Another latecomer.
Feb 10 157.5

I have been gaining and losing the same weight for a long time but in the last few months have made progress. It was a fun surprise to see I’m less than 15 lbs to my current goal. That’s motivating! Let’s finish this.
Looking forward to this journey with y’all.11 -
3 days ago, I made changes in my diet and increased the amount of fruits, vegetables in my meals.

I’ve been eating in my lower calorie range, building a reserve for Super Bowl Sunday menu 🏈
One more day of babysitting my neighbor’s fur babies.
This was 8 days of cardio dog walking and upper ST holding them back 🐕🦺🐕🦺

How fun!
This weekend, I'll watch an older puppy -not quite 1 year old. I don't have any animals so this is so enjoyable for me to host this adorable dog. Last time I watched him, I got 20,000 steps each day because of our long walks. He needs lots of exercise.9 -

Hi all! Hope everyone had a good week. I wasn’t as careful as I should have been this week. I enjoyed celebrating my daughter’s birthday with a take-out dinner and homemade cake… then, of course, there were leftovers I had the next day! Just stocked my house with healthier foods for the week to come!

Sorry I overlooked this question earlier, @Rubyred427! I am technically doing 16:8 (16 hours of fasting and an 8-hour eating window) each day. But normally I fast for at least 18 hours with occasional 20 hour or longer fasts. I have done one 24-hour fast and am currently doing a 42-hour fast. My doctor suggested I do intermittent and I’m glad she did!

7 days into my Florida visit and I've walked over 30 miles, plus swimming almost every day. The weather has been great up 'til now. It's raining this morning but it's supposed to clear up and be cooler today so my BIL and I are planning to walk Siesta Key Beach later. 4 more days before I return to winter
Enjoy your week everyone!10 -

Thanks for the tips. I know I can do IF but not when I drink alcohol. When I drink in the evening, I have to have some food to stave of nausea. Sigh.

*Week 2 update*
Hi, I’m a 38 year old female who has inched back up from my healthiest weight about 8 years ago. While I haven’t climbed back to my highest weight (195), I’m uncomfortable with the 170 I have reached after being comfortable at 150 for a while. I would like to lose those extra pounds again. 15 lbs in 3 months sounds reasonable to me.
I jumped in a little late on 2/5/23.
2/5 - 170.6
2/12 - 166.6 (mostly water weight the first week)

Waking to the thrill of Super Bowl Sunday 🥳
@RubyRed427 enjoy your time babysitting and long walks
My neighbors are home, got in late last night.
So this morning, it’s a quick dog-free walk in the canyon.
Even though my thighs and triceps are achy.
Yesterday I fell while jogging the dogs. My knees are scraped and the tip of my nose grazed the dirt. Funny how the dogs were so concerned (just for a bit) 😂
