I'm still working on tracking my food. I was shocked to realize how easy it is to go over my calories, but I suppose that's what happens for most people once they start. Doesn't help that I meal planned and went shopping before committing to tracking my calories! I've noticed that I don't get close to my fiber goal and I tend to go over on fats. Wednesdays are my grocery shopping days so I'll try and plan better this week. I think my dairy consumption throws me off since I buy full fat yogurt for my kids and 2% milk. I haven't started exercising yet either It's hard to get out of that mindset of "I'll start on Monday" because if you miss the Monday then you wait a week. But I've been getting over a sinus thing which has really knocked me off my feet this past week.
My calorie goal is 1750/day. I want to split it up close to 400 breakfast, 150 snack, 400 lunch, 150 snack, 500 dinner, 150 dessert/snack. I'm up early with my kids and instantly hungry. I also need a good protein source when I eat. I don't feel well on all carbs. Any go to's? I can meal prep and eat the same thing over and over to make it easier. Dinner is hard though but I'm working on calculating calories of what I cook and portioning it out.

So I think my night time snacking is setting me back with the calories. I really think IF will be beneficial for me, but my week is half evening shifts (my normal wake up time) and half morning shifts; which makes it harder for me to pick an eating window. I don’t like the idea of IF, just that I can use it to loose some storage fat. Plus I’ve been doing a lot of running and with IF I can hopefully settle into a balanced routine without all the cardio time.
This image kept me sane as I’ve watched the scale swing from 150 to 155 randomly this week 😥

@deepwoodslady thanks for the lovely Valentine 💘 meme
@Plasicage great visual reminder especially after Super Bowl Sunday meme
I enjoy cardio at home with a trampoline or group workouts at the gym. For home ST I’m trying and enjoying isometric holds with hand weights.
@RubyRed427 how’s your fur babysitting going? here’s the Boston terriers in the canyon💞

I've had Covid this week and I've been knocked down for the past five days. Finally starting to get around a little today but have been averaging <2200 steps/day since Friday. Not much of an appetite which has helped the scale. Plan to not push myself too hard until I have recuperated; this is not a race.11 -

@200Karen Cute dogs!! I am babysitting this coming weekend. I'll keep you updated. I can't wait.
I went for my annual physical and now have high blood pressure - just above normal.
Doctor recommends:
Daily monitoring by taking my BP at home.
Reduce salt intake
Walk 30 min. a day.
I told her I know I can do this!
She said it's not only weight that contributes to high BP.
I am trying at least. I've been logging food nearly 15 days every day.
Weighing every day.
Listening to interesting audiocasts on NOOM.
