Something I thought I'd share...

I have not been eating that good these last few days and usually when I do that, I feel real sluggish. People look at me and say im skinny and there's nothing I need to lose but I noticed the difference in my body more now than before. Especially around the mid section. Although I will wear a bikini, my body is not bikini ready. 14lbs is my goal. So Monday I started on drinking warm or cold water with lemon juice or fresh lemon wedges. Guys, I have only been doing this 4 days and I feel a difference already. See I carry my weight up top which I think comes from not having bowel movements like I should. I'd have them once a day or once every two days. One of the benefits from drinking water with lemon is improving your digestive system. In these last four days, I have went 2-3 times per day which I never do. I don't feel full and heavy like I did before. This is awesome to me and something I am definitely going to stick with. Remember, having bowel movements regularly is a plus and a great start to boosting your weight loss. Its an acquired taste but something you can get used to...
Feel free to do a little research on the benefits of lemons or lemon water...
Hope this helps

I drink water constantly throughout the day. I think I'll try buying a lemon & cutting it into quarters & sticking some in my bottle each time I refill it. Let's see what happens, haha.0 -
It's true. I saw it on Dr. Oz. lol So I found the link. http://www.drozfans.com/dr-oz-diet/dr-oz-how-to-speed-up-your-weight-loss-lemon-juice-meal-reminders/0

If you don't have access to fresh lemons/limes there is a product called Trulemon/Trulime that has no additives!0

Thanks for posting. I think we get so caught up with just chatting on the threads that we forget why we're here. This is good advice.0

except I cant drink lemon water it is gross to me. And Im not about suffering to feel better...because I will eventually let myself down. I havent read the article but can you do it another way?0
-
:noway: How do you get used to this "acquired taste"?0
-
I don't know of any other way to do this. Another thing my mom does is take a teaspoon of cinnamon and a teaspoon of honey everyday which also has great benefits. I want to start trying that too. How I got used to the taste was two ways, one is thinking about the benefits of doing it and two being thinking about it like it's lemonade with no sugar.0

I have the same issues as you and I went out at lunch and bought a bunch of lemons. Started today and plan on doing it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE water with Lemon (it's all I drink when we go to restaurants) and also love the hot water with Lemon! I hope it helps with my digestion as well.0

When I read it, I completely thought what you're implying. It didn't even occur to me that lemon water would be an aquired taste, hahaha!0 -
triple post? Well that's just awkward...0
-
Thanks for that, Porsha!
My digestive system is much like yours was, and I often feel sluggish/full and lethargic. So I will definitely get some lemons, and I actually love hot lemon water so it's a plus! Thanks for that, it's a great tip! ♥0 -
There was a post recently about hot lemon water in the mornings and I thought I'd give it a go and I'm really enjoying it. It seems to have given my insides a bit of a kickstart which they needed so I'm happy about that.
I have a cold which I'm sure would have been worse judging by other people's colds around me, but I'm dosed up on vitamin c thanks to all the lemon water!!0 -

**Reminder** Pick up lemons! My trainer has had me on a strict diet and workout regimine for a week..( I keep messing up, so she adds a day) I havent been having good bowel movements so I bought some smooth move capsules and oooh booy. For me there is nothing smooth in it. So this is a good post for me to start my day!0

Love this, and it helps the water go down. I'm not much of a water drinker, I find myself forcing myself to drink 2 litres per day - I'm still not really loving it but definitley getting used to it, it's a good habit.
Lemon might help.. thanks all.

A lot of friends swear by this little trick but ONE VERY IMPORTANT FACT TO BEAR IN MIND PEOPLE:
Lemon juice (majorly diluted or not) causes acid erosion in your teeth, so be careful with your intake or even consider usng a straw so it misses touching the teeth completely.
Also do not brush your teeth for at least an hour after drinking this and/or eating acidic fruits as it will only serve to erode them even more.
I have extremely noticeable acid erosion and this was one of the contributing factors.0 -
Thanks for the tip i love water with lemon, i also have trouble in the toilet department but my doctor recommended Fybogel and this works for me and has improved my weight loss by more than half... yaaay for bowel movements!0
