    true. I hated history all the way through high school, because it seemed like it was only memorizing names, dates and places. My general education history requirement in college opened my eyes.

    TNP had basically a single field of interest in high school, but in college, discovered there were numerous fields of interest and wondered if they should reconsider their planned major.

    False - my grandfather, a NASA engineer, introduced me to astronomy as an infant, and I never varied in wanting to study it, from my first days of school up through earning my master's degree
