Isn't Mt.Tam currently under six feet of snow? Or has it melted now? Haven't I been hunkering down in the S.Cruz Mts. waiting to emerge? Do you think the Bay Area will ever invest in snow plows?

When the California Highway Patrol posts notices like below, does it give you the feeling that we may not be used to this much snow ?

Aren't I already on the road trip? Didn't I end up at a quaint resort; no sleeping under the stars necessary?

Though it may seem like the end of the world to those not used to it, for people who grew up in the Rocky Mtns, doesn't that just look like a random Tuesday?

Have you ever swam in a lake filled by the waters from a melting glacier? Even though I did it over 30 years ago, can you understand how vivid my memories of that experience remain?

Don't I imagine it was similar to my unforgettable experience 30 years ago swimming in a small lake high in the Sierras and the even more unforgettable experience 50 years ago swimming in a larger lake in Switzerland?

Because teenagers don't always put two and two together, shouldn't they be warned that glacier-fed lakes are cold, even in the summer? Or is it better to let them experience a bone-chilling, heart-stopping, breath-taking cold that will still be chiseled into their memories decades later?

That time in Switzerland, didn't I feel like if I didn't immediately swim as hard as I could, my heart would definitely stop? Have you heard the expression "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger"? 🤔😂

Isn't the expression what doesn't kill you better run faster than you?

Is that a new version? Or am I just out of date? Sounds pretty badass, doesn't it?

Have you lot tempted me ,even in the slightest, to abandon swimming in beaches in warm Australian summers for frozen lakes in snowy winters?

Is there an expiration date for quotes?

is it not always about the company not the location?

Do you think it’s because all the sugar from the soda sends you crashing and each effect sort of cancels the other one out, @nossmf ?

"Milquetoast" - didnt I come across this word just yesterday that I had never heard of before?

@paperpudding , how are you gonna tell us a word and leave out its meaning like that?

What is the etymology of that idiom? (Does anybody know which show/character this quote came from?)

Do you always utilize parentheses for the sol purpose of making an inquiry to the layperson , @nossmf ? (Do you think we’re dumb for the first question?)

    Was that intentional?
