@fmfdfa2020 I know about water rower but I haven't tried one. I must try it when it comes time to get another one. What is it about the water rower that is better than say the concept2?

@refactored The rower I have is the brand name WaterRower (not sure if others make them now?). We looked at the more traditional rowers online like a concept2 when we decided to go with the WaterRower. I've read the differences and as far as a workout, I don't think there's a lot of difference. The WaterRower has a more realistic feel as if on the water rowing. The sound of course - with Concept2 being a little noisier. I think you get more performance and tracking data with the Concept2. I did notice that WaterRower now has a large performance screen on some models. For me, personally, I'm what I guess you would call a very low-key rower LOL. I don't check my stroke speed, or distance, etc. I get on it, I row with proper form/technique for 30 to 45 minutes (working back to this after surgery and losing a lot of stamina). I like the sound of the water, it's very calming and I like the look of it. :) As you can tell, I might not be the best person to give a comparison for someone who is performance-driven. If you do eventually get a WaterRower, let me know what you think compared to the others you have used.

@itladyee thank you for the encouragement.

@deepwoodslady I hope your blood pressure increases soon. Do you have someone who can drive you to hospital if you need to go?

@refactored I have two daughters in the area but they both work. I hate to trouble them but if it were a true emergency I would certainly call them or call 911. We do have an ambulance service that takes us part way (end of county line) toward a hospital, then another ambulance from that county meets us there and transports us the rest of the way (yes you are moved from one ambulance to another on the side of the road). In bad accidents and such, airlifting is done which would not pertain to me at this point.

I stopped taking one of my bp meds two nights ago when my blood pressure dropped and I stated getting super dizzy. I am only taking the one in the morning that they gave me (along with a few other meds) when I had my stent last Aug. My blood pressure has come up now to just above normal 100/60. I am definitely feeling much better with less dizziness. I am going to keep watching it and my watch my breathing to make sure the stent didn't close. If I can get that bottom number consistently up to 65 or more I will take the Lisinipril again. After all, I have been on that med for about 7 or 8 years, long before the stent. I didn't stop the morning one because they said it was very specific to my stent.

Thanks for the healing thoughts and concern.

What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.

People say keto/LCHF isn’t sustainable. I’ve been doing it for over 5 years with amazing results!

3/13 126.5 Happy Belated Birthday, Chris!
3/14 126.0 Just sticking to my plan, finally. My evening snacking has been sunflower seeds salted in the shell. Time consuming due to sucking all of the salt! Drinking plenty of water. Up today at 4:30AM Lunch today with a friend. Let me just add that waking at 4:30AM is not acceptable to me!
3/15 126.5 WHOO HOO! I slept until 7:05! 8 hours 9 minutes! I will attribute that to the muscle relaxer I took when I got up at 2:30. I felt the headache starting in the back of my head. I was supposed to work at the quilt show all day but it turns out I wasn’t needed. I’m so glad - maybe that’s why I was able to sleep! Uptick due to spanakopita I ate at lunch yesterday, I’m sure. Flour!
3/16 127.5 Bingo last night was frustrating at best plus the “dinner” was pathetic and nothing but super carby junk. Sliders on those Hawaiian rolls (🤮) with less than a tablespoon of chicken salad on each, potato chips, and ice cream sandwiches.
3/17 127.0 Woke up at 5:20 with cramping in my foot.
3/18 127.5 We decorated cookies at Arts and Crafts - I ate some. Wheat and sugar. Meeting fam for breakfast and then haircuts. Haven’t seen GGS for 6 weeks! Eight weeks from today we board a ship for 2 weeks. I need to get my “TMI” together. I need to put on my gym shoes and then actually GO THERE! The brain and body function better on ketones than carbs - less brain fog and more fat burn.
3/19 128.0 Throwing away the junk carbs. I have zero willpower!
3/20 128.0 My stomach felt off all day yesterday and still isn’t happy. @SModa thanks for the reminder about Miralax and I’m making my FIRST chia “pudding” with mixed berries.

@deepwoodslady I took lisinopril for 2 or 3 years and finally tied that to my vertigo. The doctor didn’t like my self experimentation but I didn’t like feeling off balance all the time!

@quiltingjaine Your GGS is so adorable. They grow up so fast! Also, I have to say, you look great. Your arms are so tone. What exercises do you do besides lifting your 9 month old GGS :) ?
