Scale moving in the right direction, but I’m worried that I’m breaking IF now frequently, and a nice stall is coming up. I don’t sleep well hungry. The daylight saving time also not helping.
This week adapting to a different schedule, probably breaking IF again at least one day 😔7 -
My name is Mary, 65 from Pennsylvania.
Been MIA for a few months but still logging in everyday since I started MFP 5/14/21. Trying to get back into the swing of posting on my threads I've been in for awhile. 668 continuous days now today in a row since I started MFP.
Unfortunately lost my mojo and gained a lot back but not all Thank God! Need to get back on track and focused. I bought a NEW to me, gently used, Commercial PreCor EFX 835 Elliptical. It was delivered the beginning of November, as others here know I wore my previous 10+ year old one out from my extensive workouts. Back up to 150 minutes on my 3 days off per week.
Good to see some familiar names here and glad to see some new ones too!

2/26/23- 202.6 lbs Elliptical HIIT setting Fri, Sat & Sun, 150 minutes 9.89 miles -10.12 miles. So 40+ miles this week, since I took an extra day off on Friday. Waiting for the scale to show my efforts. :-(

3/5/23- 200 lbs Elliptical Thurs, Fri & Sun 150 minutes for just over 10 miles each session. Finally glad to see a drop. I was hoping for Onederland though. Oh well, it's inevitable. Can't complain about 7.4 lbs since 2/1, in 4 1/2 weeks.

03/13-189.4-(Trend Weight: 191.6)- It’s been a very good week. I really like the way the trend weight is moving too. Lots more work to do though. It’s a journey for sure!
03/21-188.6-(Trend Weight: 190.3)- I’ve changed my weigh-in day to Tuesday because I travel on Mondays for my cardiac rehab. I can change it back when I have completed the CR program. I’ve been very sick these past few days with extremely low blood pressures (Avg 81/41). No exercise or major movement here. Don’t want to push the heart too hard so there has been no calorie burn. Upside is that I’ve stuck to the diet plan so there’s that. Finally after 2 days and self-stopping my bp meds, my bp is up within range that is acceptable and I’m feeling a bit better. I may try something simple like the exercise bike today. If I could burn at least 2000 overall calories today I will be happy! My complete burn has only been 1800-1900 these past couple of days. That is what happens when you are stuck on the couch taking it easy! Otherwise, it has been a pretty good week. A lot of improvement in my trend weight because of it.

Obviously not going to make my 3 month goal. I was under or at my calories all week so not sure where I went wrong. I cut down on carbs and ate more vegetables this week. I guess I just need to get some exercise in. Not doing anything. Just went for a walk twice this week. Going to look at some chair exercises something I can do at home anytime.
Hoping to get out on my ebike soon. Will see if that happens as last year I fell off and broke a rib and have had anxiety about getting back on the bike.

Hi- I’m Char, a 5’3” 45yr old mom of 3 tween/teens. I have been using MFP for a few years inconsistently. I started at 159lbs in Jan 2018 and lost 25lbs in 8 months. Then maintained until summer 2021. Since then, I swapped around some daily medications and thus my weight fluctuated- going up. Starting 2023, I hit 150lbs — and have recommitted to tracking, weighing and using macros to get that extra weight off. Looking for continued success in 2023. Glad to be here ;-)

My final goal weight is 135-140.

Mar 24: 161.3
It's not looking very likely that I will meet my next goal to be under 160 by the end of March. I think I need to shake up my meal plan a bit and see what happens. I've been focusing on exercise, which I will continue since it's great for my fitness level, but doesn't seem to have much impact on my rate of loss.
On the bright side, I pulled out the tape measure yesterday for the first time in 2 months. I'd been holding off since I've only lost about 3.5 lbs since the last time I measured. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I lost another inch from my waist, an inch from my hips, half an inch from my bust, and half an inch from each thigh. Just keep going......
Have a great week everyone!

I have not been able to take water pill due to bp drops as well as all this travel. All the more reason I am not weighing as I am bloating bigger. I have massaged my ankles and abdomen this morning in the hopes that it will help. Yet more restaurants today too along with lots of sitting. I am not allowed to exercise right now until they figure out my bp problems anyway so I suppose it’s okay. Hopefully the cardiologist will get back with me sometime today on the bp numbers I dropped off yesterday.

Last week’s goals:
YES- Arm weights daily
YES- More veggies - green ones
YES- More fruit
NO- Read labels for sodium content
This week's goals:
Arm weights daily- since I have a broken leg.
More green veggies- broccoli and salads
More water during the day- currently I drink most of the water at night which makes no sense since it makes me get up in the night often.
Journal twice this week- just set a time and write for 5 minutes
I so think I have lost weight overall. It's just hard to tell because of this heavy cast.

I've been having a hard time getting fully back in the groove of eating healthfully and getting in 8000 steps/day ever since I had Covid last month. Even though I go to the gym 3x/wk, I find myself being more sedentary in general. My goal for April will be to consciously move more in my downtime.7 -

I have decided to go back to work. I have been retired for 2 years. I have a job interview today at our local Thrift job. I hoping getting a job and getting put of the house a couple of days a week will help with my weight loss. I will be on my feet and walking most of the day.10
