I'm a few days late because I was traveling this weekend without a scale. Thought I had kept my calories in check, but obviously not. My daughter's wedding is April 22 and we'll be traveling mid-month to the wedding, so I really only have a couple of weeks to get down to a slightly more comfortable weight (around 130).4 -

04/01-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- I woke up today in quite a depressed state. I am bothered that my normal routine has been so very disrupted. I realized I have not even gotten dressed since Thur morn when I had to travel. I am still bloated and am quite sure I have put on a few pounds while going through all of this medical drama. Even with the medication change, my bp was down way too low again yesterday and I couldnβt get any fitness in because of it. Food is not the answer and does not solve the problems! I ate things I shouldnβt have mixed in with good pre-planned choices but the in-betweens threw me out of plan. I am a mess. I will work on myself today though it is babysitting day again. That will not leave much time for me but Iβll do my best. Tomorrow (Sunday) is a rare free day this week. No babysitting and no drs appointments. Tomorrow I can really focus. Iβll be back to travel on Monday. In the meantime, I am logging my food and going to youtube to find some positive affirmations that I can listen to (and repeat). I really need them today.
04/02-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- They have taken away one of my bp meds but my bp is still running way way too low. I am sucking down water and eating pinches of salt. I am keeping my feet elevated over my heart. All of it helps but then it just dips back down again. I am still not allowed to do anything in the form of exercise. My overall daily calorie burn has only been in the 1800βs or early 1900βs and I can feel my pants getting a bit tighter. Losing weight and getting my glucose down (T2D) is challenging enough without these roadblocks! Tomorrow is travel to the same town as my heart failure clinic. I will be taking my bp machine in so cardiologist can download my numbers. The nurses will call me later with the most current advice. Iβve been trying to busy myself with some organizing projects to keep me up and moving. I hope this will all resove itself soon. I want my life back! As soon as I am cleared for exercise and I can get moving again, I will get on the scale. In the meantime, I donβt need it to know that eating and laying down with your feet up constantly causes weight gain. Iβve got enough to be depressed about!

Hello everyone Iβm so excited to be here! I have been up and down and up and down in my weight for years. And Iβm never going to give up trying. I started at 250 pounds in 2016. In 2020 I was able to get down to 151. Almost to my goal. But life never stops throwing those wrenches. So Iβm back up to 213 and Iβm not getting any higher. Iβm back on it today so a little late in April but Iβm so happy to be here. Iβm in love with some friends to join me on the journey. Please add me if youβd like to Journey together. Have a wonderful day everybody. Oh and my goals are to try to lose at least 2 pounds a week and really only eat when Iβm hungry and make sure those meals are healthier with more vegetables. Maintain good water intake and move every day.

I know it appears that I am losing too much weight in a week's time .. however, it's probably inflammation and water weight that is sifting away as the starting weight was a sudden gain in the middle of March. My weight has been holding stead in that 'about 230' range for the past several months .. and that's the weight I am trying to break free off. I had a low weight of 215 nine-months ago and am working hard to get back to that low weight, and then move down some more after that.8 -
