    Hi everyone.
    I am Dawn. 5'2", 62 years old.
My BMI and stuff like that shows my optimum healthy weight should be between 110 and 120.

I have steadily gained in all but one of the last bunch of 100s (gained 2.2 pounds this past one)
I need to turn that around.
I am not cutting out any food groups, or anything at all really because I want weight loss to be sustainable for life. I have learned to have less of certain things, and have moved some other stuff to once per week or once per 3 months (Ribs, very fattening). If I thought that I couldn't have them at all I believe that it would be worse. For the most part I eat very healthy foods.
I have had quite a bit of success since I started MFP October 28.18, but this past year has been an almost 15 pound gain after being in the 130s for 2 years.
I am into my biggest pair of pants and have no desire to buy bigger pants. I have lots of cute clothes that I was wearing at 130, and at that point I was driving hard to get into the 120s and beyond.

I love this long length of 100 days, and seeing how each week is going,

As always, I am open to suggestions. I think most of us have tried everything at this junction.
Calories in vs. Calories out really should work though.

I have made a decision to limit restaurant food to 6 times per year since I seem to gain a few pounds each time which could take 3-6 months to get back off from one visit.
Rolling total so far: 2 out of the 6

    Best of luck to everyone.

1st week goal weight: 142.2 - Start weight from the last 100 and go from there.
1st week actual weight: 142.4 - Started the (short) week at 143.4
Excess calories burned (in the green): 3055, 756.25 average over 4 days, back to work and reflected in my weight loss. The corrected weekly calendar is now on page 2.

2nd week goal weight: 142.2 or less - Still wanting to get back to the start weight from the previous 100
2nd week actual weight: 142.6 - Started the week (high) at 145.0 after a restaurant meal of salad and grilled chicken.
Excess calories burned (in the green): 2553 - Average of 364.7 (had a day in the red)

    3rd week goal weight: 139.2
3rd week actual weight: 141.0. Started the week at 141.2
Excess calories burned (in the green): 4913. Average over 7 days 701.85 - I knew that I had burned a lot.

4th week goal weight: 139.2 - plugging this number in until I hit it - too lofty for this week methinks
4th week actual weight: 141.0 Started the week at 142.0, 2nd out of 6 restaurant visits for the year.
Excess exercise calories burned (in the green on MFP): 5744 - Average over 7 days: 820.57 - Not a typical week, but seemed to have helped with weight loss (as well as not having much time to eat)

Day 26 – Sat April 01 - 141.0 - It is snow/sleeting here, so no trails planned for the day. That will be excellent to germinate the spinach seeds that I put in a few days ago. They only like it cool, spring and falI, they only bolt to seed in the summers here where it is very hot. (around 100f)
I will get Fitness Marshall songs in throughout the day in between my fave radio shows. I will go out later to pick up a few groceries, other than that I don't really plan to get dressed today. Hard for me to just rest, but I know that I need to.
Day 27 – Sun April 02 - Missed weighing, I had a big glass of water and was already halfway through a cup of coffee once I realized that I had somehow gapped.
Day 28 – Mon April 03 - 143.0 - Fallout from eating Ribs, which were soooo delicious. No more of that until the next 100
Day 29 – Tues April 04 - 142.2 - Trying to work off those delicious ribs, hope to end the week where I started it
Day 30 – Wed April 05 - 142.2 - I can't seem to log my food for today or my dinner from yesterday on MFP, it keeps going to a weird format. I basically had 2 dinners yesterday (not too many calories each, but still!)
    Day 31 – Thurs April 06
    Day 32 – Fri April 07

5th week goal weight: 139.2 - plugging this number in until I hit it 141.0 - Once every 3 month Ribs
5th week actual weight: Started the week at 141.0 - Ribs consumed for this 100
Excess exercise calories burned (in the green on MFP)

Start weight of the 100: 143.4, up 1.2 from the start weight of the previous 100, 142.2

    100 Days of Weighing In ^^^^^ March 07, 2023 through June 14, 2023
My Name is Donna, Age 62. I am 5’5” tall & I live in Northern Michigan USA

My mini-challenge is to lose 10 pounds by Easter 2023. I started my efforts on Dec. 10th weighing 198.4. My wish is to weigh 188.4 by Easter April 9th, 2023. That gives me about 4 months to lose 10 pounds. Sounds easy but, trust me, it won’t be. Especially when outside exercise is so limited for me this slippery time of year!

Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.

Day 29-04/04-DNW-(Trend weight DNW) Oh my Goodness, I wanted to weigh so badly today! But then, why would I weight the day after travel when the restaurant food usually adds 2-3 extra pounds to the scale? So I am drinking lots of water to offset the high sodium meal, hoping for a TMI to rid myself of the evidence and going to try to close all my fitbit circles today while carefully watching the bp. Fasting glucose this morning was pretty good so that is a good sign of the times I hope. Enjoy your day everyone!

Day 30-04/05-DNW-(Trend weight DNW) Bad Rain storm across Michigan today. Some areas (like mine) will also see a wintery mix of rain & snow, large hail, and in some areas the possibility of tornados. So it’s gloomy but active. Had thunder and lightning all night which I hate since I am so terrified of lightning because my house was struck when I was a child. I pray we don’t lose power because then there is no water when you have a well. On the diet front: Yesterday was a very good day. I cooked some new meals which was within plan and exciting. I did a little mild dancing even though I’ve been told not to exercise quite yet. Today my blood pressure is down too low again. It seems to be going back & forth. I travel tomorrow for cardiac rehab (education only at this point, no exercise because of bp) and it is located in the same town as the Heart Failure Clinic so Dr. says to bring in bp machine so they can download my recent readings. They will probably call later to direct me. Sticking to my guns today. I’ve already pre-logged my meals. I can feel that my clothes are a bit tighter mainly due to lack of burning those calories I’m eating. My daily calorie expenditure overall has been in the 1800 range. THAT gets me nowhere!

    @deepwoodslady

    You might as well weigh.
Food is the true determiner of weight at the end of the day, 75% due to food choices, 25% due to movement? Something like that.
You sure were going well with your weight over the last several months. I think that you had already hit your Easter goal, unlike me!
I think that you said that you skip lunch often at home. Do you skip lunch while travelling also?

House cleaning...never ends. It doesn't ever feel like time well spent to me, but it always is satisfying to accomplish a few things each day.

Hoping that the docs get to the bottom of this. Maybe they will take you off 100% of your meds to give your body a chance to begin to heal naturally. Meds can cause more problems and some are listed as a cause of low blood pressure...mind you that is only WebMD lol.

I am very worried about you.

@dawnbgethealthy Sorry, I just saw this post. Yes, I do much better when I stick to just two meals and snacks. 99.9% of the time I skip breakfast as all I want is my coffee when I wake up lol. I also try to do some form of Intermittent fasting so it's important not to eat in the morning in order for that to be successful. When I skip lunch at home I guess I really am not actually skipping it time-wise. I just have my breakfast at lunchtime because the breakfast foods are what is low in carbs (eggs, bacon etc.). I usually eat my first meal about 1:00-2:00. I like to have my dinner by 8:00 but it is often later because I miscalculate the cooking time. My dinner is much more likely to be around 9:30 or 10:00. I really need to work on making it earlier because I do think that affects our scales.

If you read my post today you will see that I've only been burning about 1800 calories (or slightly over). And that is only that high because I've been working on some organizing projects which is getting more steps in than I've had in awhile (though it's still below what I want). You can't lose weight like that when the calorie intake is about 1400. I can feel that my pants a a wee bit tighter. Not too bad, (I mean, I don't think I've gained 10 pounds or anything) but I don't feel smaller, I feel a tad bigger. I know I was off the rails a few days with travel and also with some pretty bad depression and emotional eating.

I am here for my overall health. That is my physical health and my mental health. It will not do me any good or serve me in anyway to find the scale higher right now, or even to find it the same with all my efforts I am trying to put in. It's just not good for me at this point. Everytime I think things are getting better with my bp, it gets too low again for days at a time. It is that way again last night and today so far. I am more concerned about my stent placement, if my heart has enough pressure to provide for my vital organs etc. than anything else. I just don't need anymore (possible) bad news.

I still have my eye on the prize. The newest one being my goal of 188.4 or less by Easter. I will definitely weigh on Easter morn to see if I made it. I already hit below that a couple of times so I am hopeful. I am psyching myself up to celebrate any progress at all because progress is HARD when you've been at this for a long time. The body REALLY REALLY fights you. I know you are experiencing this yourself right now. It's tough! So I am working hard to get in a place to appreciate anything I see on the scale by Easter morning. And I am working like Haites to make sure it's the best number it can possibly be. But I'm working on myself mentally too, to be proud of myself no matter what because I know the sacrifices I've made, we've all made!

As far as my blood pressure and my diabetes go, I know that losing weight, improving my BMI and getting out of the obesity range will REALLY improve all of these conditions. And my mental health will just naturally follow. Right now there is so much crap on my mind. Too much to say in this already long response. Perhaps I can leak a bit out here and there. It might be good for me to unload and help everyone understand at the same time.

For now though, let me say this. I TRULY appreciate your concern and the time you take to reach out to me as often as you do. You have a very busy life and giving me a piece of the pie means a lot. You pay attention, and that matters. Thanks for that.

Retaining water like crazy right now - I know it's hormonal because I've stuck to the plan. This is why people get frustrated with weight loss. If it were linear - do x and lose x amount of weight - this would be so much easier.

"Do what you know is right and the number on the scale will follow."

This is truth but I still have to repeat it to myself. Keep at it ladies!

Aiming for a loss of 50 grams a day
Day 1 87.3 kg I had what I call a 'sugar fest', I always do that at the start of losing weight, plus some fruit and crackers, I drank a lot of water in an attempt to battle the heat here, so I'm not surprised that my weight has increased...
Day 2 87.6 on track? Probably. I am trying to go off sugar, but I am not too successful usually, be on the lookout for "x days without sugar" now and then. Today went alright, however from now on I am limiting myself to only 2 small packs of crackers, because I wasn't really hungry.
I've decided to aim for 30 grams loss a day since I'm in a new environment now, sharing food and I don't really know what level of hunger to aim for, I'll increase it later
Day 3 87.3 on track? Probably. Today was a good day, I probably ate under maintenance, although I wonder if my weight loss is just my body emptying out since I splurged in Day 0. Against my better judgement (done this soooo many times) I plotted on my spreadsheet and I'm guessing May 30th next year is goal day. Mark your calendar.
Day 4 86.8 on track, I think I ate too much today, I wasn't really hungry unless I thought about food
Day 5 87.5 on track, spreadsheet trendline says I am losing 30 grams a day which is exactly what I am meant to be losing right now, I didn't eat under maintenance, a bit of emotional eating, I need to decide what I am going to eat in the morning and stick to it
From now I'll post the weight and then number of grams a day I'm losing as told by my spreadsheet
Day 6 87.4, 0 g/day, the last few days my weight has increased dramatically, I decided that I needed to cut back a lot and that happened today
Day 7 86.8, 50 g/day > 30 = good, I ate reasonably well, although I only drank two water bottles instead of the usual 3, so maybe my weight tomorrow will be lower than expected
Day 8 86.6, 105 g/day > 30 = good, I controlled my eating, and ate less than maintenance, also had 3 water bottles
    Day 9 86.8, 104 g/day > 30 = good, I think maybe I ate too much, it's hard to know though
*** half a kilogram lost, 23 kilograms to lose, goal day estimated at 30th May 2024 ***
Day 10 87.0, 89 g/day > 30 = good, I definitely ate too much, plus some salty food so I expect to see a gain tomorrow
*** 10 day update: it's pretty easy to lose 30 grams a day, and I did find it easy. These 10 days haven't been stressful at all. I think I 'emptied out' a lot which is why my numbers are greater than 30 grams. I could stay at 30 grams but it would take an extra year almost, so I'm going up to the next step - 35 grams a day ***
Day 11 87.6, 37 g/day > 35 = good, I think I ate too much today, which would mean two days in a row, I really need to undereat for at least a few days or else
    Day 12 87.6, 32 g/day < 35 = bad
*** Update - so I've just had a major life change and as you probably know, major life changes are bad for weight loss. I don't want to pause the weight loss, but I do want to keep losing, so I'll just aim for one kilogram a month, I rate I feel I can manage while undergoing major life changes, this gets me to goal weight on 5th February 2025. If I speed things up somewhat I can reach goal weight 1st Jan 2025 which means 4 years exactly to lose 32 kg. So I'm trying to lose 23 kg / 654 days = 35.2 grams a day ***
    Day 13 87.3, 2.2 g/day < 35.2 = quite bad, I need to get into serious mode for a while,
Day 14 87.4, still need to turn the ship around since according to my spreadsheet, I'm gaining right now
Day 15 87.1, I'm losing (finally) but it's taking a while to turn the ship around
Day 16 86.7, things are going well it seems
    Day 17 86.6, going well
Day 18 86.4, still going well
*** half a kilogram lost, 22.5 kilograms to lose, goal day estimated at 31st December 2024 ***
Day 19 86.1 going well it seems
Day 20 86.0 still going well, how long can it last?
Day 21 86.1 I drank more water than previously, so expecting a gain tomorrow maybe
Day 22 86.6 Gain as expected
Day 23 86.9 Salty food (hopefully just that)
Day 24 87.2, 38 grams a day loss which is on track
    Day 25 87.3, on track
Day 26 87.6, for the last 13 days my weight has been dropping then gaining, let's see if I can get it losing again
Day 27 86.6 a big drop because I controlled my eating yesterday, however I'm at 22 g/day when I should be at 35 g/day, so I need a few or so days of seriously controlled eating
    Day 28 86.1 another big drop, I'm at 26 g/day
Day 29 85.7 I'm at 32 g/day which is almost where I'm meant to be, but right now those numbers vary wildly day to day
    Day 30 85.7 On track - 37 g/day
Day 31 86.1 On track - I've given up on the trendline on my spreadsheet, since it's all over the place quite regularly. From now on, I've got a line which starts at 87.3 (first weight) and drops by 35.2 grams a day. So if I'm at or below that line, I'm on track. If not, I'm not on track

Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

WEEK 4 LOSS OR GAIN: ?????
    Accumulated Loss or Gain: ?????

Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.

    Day 29-04/04-DNW-(Trend weight DNW)

Day 31-04/06-DNW-(Trend weight DNW) I ate dinner way way too late, around 10:30 PM. I’ve got to find a way to eat earlier! My tummy feels like a ton of bricks. It was a good day though. I stayed within calorie, got a good bp reading late last night after dinner and (therefore) jumped on my exercise bike for about 25 minutes. Travel today. I must be strategic.

    GOAL: 104
    03/14 : 111.4
    3/15 : 111.6
    03/27 : 112.2
    4/03 : 110:0 ( felt so bloated though)
    4/06: 108.6 - definitly felt a whoosh.

    Consistent with 60min workouts.
    Steps consistent at 12,000+
and most of all.... that afternoon snack is now a cup of bone broth and a walk.

The meal plan that I am doing is giving me more Lemon, more Basamic vinegar

    Less sweetener = More Fruit
    Less Carbs = more greens
Less protein = but still satisfied
Some oil = which helps absorb nutrients and satiety
    more water
A structure to follow. Whole foods to eat with out me having to dwell on .... What should I have today.
As well as the amount that is reasonable.

It also allows for 1 cheat meal a week. Which I am thinking I will do sunday noon for easter. BUT not go overboard becasue check in with coach is on Monday.

I think some of us became quite close (like you and I) during the pandemic when we were locked down but had each other to talk to each day on these forums.

New recipes? Please share the new thing(s) that you made!!

Day 31 – Thurs April 06 - 141.4 - Later dinner last night and tonight will be too since I picked up a couple of evening shifts. Tonight's is prepped and ready to pop into the toaster oven and George Foreman - Chicken breast, broccolli, yams, butter and sour cream. Glad that MFP is fixed, I have pre-logged the day. Hoping that I can somehow reach my week's start weight tomorrow morning.
    Day 32 – Fri April 07

5th week goal weight: 139.2 - plugging this number in until I hit it 141.0
5th week actual weight: Started the week at 141.0 - Once every 3 month Ribs consumed for this 100
Excess exercise calories burned (in the green on MFP)

Start weight of the 100: 143.4, up 1.2 from the start weight of the previous 100, 142.2

Hi all, I'm Rowan, I live in Northamptonshire, UK.
I have been off and on MFP since 2013, and have been 128lbs at my lowest, 180.8 at my highest.
In the summer of 2021, I was at my highest weight and feeling utterly sick, tired and depressed. I restarted tracking my calories, with no exercise other than walking 5 miles a day most days, and managed to lose 43lbs in about 5 months. But then I took a break in March last year and didn't come back until January this year, by which time I'd regained 26lbs. So I got back in the game and am now down about 13lbs since then.
I am taking a different approach this time, I have raised my calories slightly and am focusing on getting lots of protein and staying hydrated. I have been strength training for about the last month, which I am really enjoying, but it does leave me feeling quite tired at times, so it can be difficult to get my steps in every day.
I have a health tracker watch which tells me that I have a BMR of 1254 calories a day and on days that I work out I burn around 1800-2000 calories in 24hrs, 1500 calories on days that i don't. I aim to eat around 1200 calories a day with 40% protein. I have a BMI of 26.5 and I have a high body fat percentage of 40.4%, so I really need to lower my body fat to at least 30% and raise my muscle mass. Hopefully this will help increase my metabolism, which seems to crawl along at a snail's pace. Gaining any muscle while eating at a deficit is really difficult, but at least I can do my best to retain the muscle that I have.
I should be losing about 1.5lbs a week, however things aren't always so straightforward, so I have set a target for 1lb a week for the first 50 days of this challenge, then 0.5lb a week for the second 50 days. If I manage to get to within the healthy BMI range by the end of this, I will be very happy. So that's 143lbs for me, about 9lbs to lose, but I'm hoping for 141lbs.

Sorry for the essay! Good luck to everyone, we can do this!

    Challenge weight lost: 0.4
    Challenge weight to go: 7.2

Not the best start, but I think I'm in the middle of my usual monthly plateau, and water retention from muscle soreness is also at play.
I'm fully in my routine now of gym 4/5 days a week, cals 1200 or less and walking 8500 a day, so I just need to stay consistent and let the magic happen. I would like to find ways to be more active, outside of intentional exercise. When the weather improves it should become easier. I have loads of DIY that I need to get done but traipsing in and out of my cold garage in the sleet and rain really doesn't appeal.
A couple of days ago we booked flights to Portugal, leaving on the 22nd, back on 28th. I'm thinking of taking a food scale and an exercise band with me to help me stay on track. There's a pool at our apartment and push bikes we can use, so hopefully I'll be able to counteract any excesses by staying active. OH will be working while we're there, so I'll have a lot of time to kill. I'm wondering if I'm brave enough to do a sea kayaking tour on my own... I'm a water baby but OH can't swim and has a bit of a fear of deep water, so I don't often get the chance to get out on the waves. Need to brush up on my Portuguese, I was doing daily lessons for a few months then stopped abruptly about 2 weeks ago and I'm shocked how much I've forgotten already! Agora, eu vou a commer o pequeño-almoço, depois eu vou para o gym. Até tarde!

That really sucks. I don't think there's anything else I can do, I have been sticking to my calories and macros, doing my best to stay hydrated, walking at least 8500 steps, weight training at least 4 times a week and not eating back any exercise calories. And I have lost NOTHING since the start of the month. I do not want to drop calories any further, I average 1100 a day. So frustrating. I need to keep reminding myself that my trend weight is down 2.5lbs from the start of the month, and even though progress is slow, there's still progress.

Had a great week away in Portugal, lots of cycling, kayaking, and walking, but also too much food and booze in the evenings! I took a sneak peak at my weight yesterday when I got back but decided not to record it as I could tell I was holding onto loads of water from flying. I'm so happy to see this weight today! Things may take a bit of time to settle back down, and it's going to take some discipline to get back into tracking properly and going to the gym but I'm motivated to get back on it. I think I will adjust my weekly goal weights for the rest of this challenge, 1lb a week isn't realistic for me and it can be demotivating when i don't meet it, so I'm going to do half pound targets starting next week.
    Day 25 – Fri March 31149.2

    4th week goal weight: 149.5
    4th week actual weight: 149.2

    Challenge weight lost: 2.4
    Challenge weight to go: 5.2

So I have gone back and amended my overall 'goal to lose' for this challenge and my 'challenge weight to go' numbers to reflect my now half pound a week goal. I'm still hoping to lose more than this, but with weight training 4 times a week, I think muscle gain is raising my body weight as I lose fat. I don't want to be discouraged from the weight training by obsessing over a slow weight loss. And if I lose slower than half a pound a week, so be it. I'm sticking to 1200 calories, focusing on protein and fibre, getting my steps in and exercising.

Day 32 86.7 Off track, it's official - I have zero self-control when it comes to sugar

    Challenge weight lost: 3
    Challenge weight to go: 4.6

Didn't think I was going to make my goal this week so I'm relieved. I'm finding it hard to stay on track this week, I've lost a bit of my discipline. The good weather is making me want to go out and enjoy things, and as I'm seeing the 140s more regularly, I'm losing a bit of the urgency to get the weight off. I guess it's a good thing, it means I'm more happy and content inside myself! But I can so easily slip back into old ways and regain, so I need to make sure I weigh every day and make sure I'm keeping up with strength training. It's OK to allow myself more treats, so long as it's not every day and doesn't cause my weight to trend upwards.

Don't feel like I've had much progress and the weight loss is slowing down. Plan to start some very light activity to see how I tolerate it. Need to shake up my metabolism so hopefully muscle strengthening will help.

@Queen_of_Lean how are you finding Body Combat? I used to go to classes regularly a few years ago and loved how it made me feel like a badass with all the martial arts and kick boxing moves, but it's so intense! I've been wanting to take up the classes again but I'm scared! I don't know if I have the stamina these days and it's really tough on my knees. Maybe when I've lost a few more pounds...
I like the Bodypump classes too, but haven't had the guts to go to that either, I'm just focusing on using resistance machines and free weights instead. I used to also do the Beachbody Insanity workouts at home, which are tough! But my house now has hollow floors and low ceilings so I can't so workouts that require jumping, running etc.
We're the same age and height, but you're close to my goal weight already!

@39flavours, I really really like the Bodycombat, it's a cardio bomb, but very entertaining at the same time. I love the fact that it really pushes you to the limit.

But you are absolutely right that it's too intense, and I also feel it tough to my knees. I'm confident that Pilates is much more suitable for my body at this age, but I also need to burn more calories and do some cardio. Maybe if I make a combination, that will be the best.

Other than that, I've tried Bodypump and it's also good, but I will go back to it whan I'm a few kgs lighter and my focus becomes body composition not loosing weight.

Yes, I get that. I am all about burning calories. I like Pilates, but 1/2 hour of Zumba-esque things burn so much more than it does. I always figure that once I lose weight I will do more of that kind of stuff.

Day 32 – Fri April 07 - 141.0 - Dinner was a bit of a comedy, the brocolli was done, but the chicken breast wasn't (baked it along with the yam cubes instead of grilling) so I ate the brocolli. Then the chicken was ready but not the yams, so I ate the chicken and 1/2 hour later the yams were finally cooked, so I ate the yams lol. MFP is saying I will be 115 pounds in 5 weeks, but I have heard that story for years. Plugging away.

    5th week goal weight: 141.0
5th week actual weight: 141.0 - Started the week at 141.0 - Once every 3 month Ribs consumed for this 100, glad that I got that off in one week.
Excess exercise calories burned (in the green on MFP) - I will fill this in after today's numbers

    Day 33 – Sat April 08
    Day 34 – Sun April 09
    Day 35 – Mon April 10
    Day 36 – Tues April 11
    Day 37 – Wed April 12
    Day 38 – Thurs April 13
    Day 39 – Fri April 14

    6th week goal weight
    6th week actual weight
Excess exercise calories burned (in the green on MFP

    Day 30-04/05-DNW-(Trend weight DNW)

Day 31-04/06-xxxxx-(Trend weight xxxxx) I ate dinner way way too late, around 10:30 PM. I’ve got to find a way to eat earlier! My tummy feels like a ton of bricks. It was a good day though. I stayed within calorie, got a good bp reading late last night after dinner and (therefore) jumped on my exercise bike for about 25 minutes. Travel today. I must be strategic.

Day 32-04/07-190.6-(Trend weight 192.4) This was probably not a good day to weigh. After all, yesterday was travel which always means restaurant, extra sitting and no water pill. But I needed to see where I am at before Easter Sunday. I am not real happy seeing the 190’s again but I think I can put a big ding in that today and tomorrow before the holiday. To meet my personal goal of the 10 pound loss between Christmas and Easter, I need to drop 2.2 pounds back off. No matter what happens, I am proud of my progress. I am down approx 8 pounds during my mini-challenge including through the Christmas holidays and the Valentine’s candy gifts. I have dropped a size, am measuring smaller, and feel more confident about myself. All wins! But I am still going for those last two pounds since I had them off before my bp issues stopped me in my tracks. Good news yesterday: Cardiac rehab released me with all good grades. That means less travel in my future which will definitely affect my weight loss. I’m feeling “up” today, even with the scale disappointment. After all, I had to buy new (smaller) underwear, remember?

    Highest weight: 180.8lbs July 5th '21
    Current weight: 151.6lbs
    Challenge goal weight: 144.0lbs
    Ultimate goal weight: Under 130lbs
    Target lbs to lose: 7.6lbs

    Day 1 – Tues March 07 151.6
    Day 2 – Wed March 08 151.8
    Day 3 – Thurs March 09 151.2
    Day 4 – Fri March 10 151.2

    1st week goal weight: 151.0
    1st week actual weight: 151.2

Até tarde!

    Day 5 – Sat March 11 150.2
    Day 6 – Sun March 12 151.6
    Day 7 – Mon March 13 151.6
    Day 8 – Tues March 14 150.6
Day 9 – Wed March 15 147.2 How is that even possible?
    Day 10 – Thurs March 16 150.8 Oh well.
    Day 11 – Fri March 17 151.4 Not impressed.

    2nd week goal weight: 150.0
    2nd week actual weight: 151.4

    Challenge weight lost: 0.2
    Challenge weight to go: 7.4

That really sucks. I don't think there's anything else I can do, I have been sticking to my calories and macros, doing my best to stay hydrated, walking at least 8500 steps, weight training at least 4 times a week and not eating back any exercise calories. And I have lost NOTHING since the start of the month. I do not want to drop calories any further, I average 1100 a day. So frustrating. I need to keep reminding myself that my trend weight is down 2.5lbs from the start of the month, and even though progress is slow, there's still progress.

I'll be away end of this week and half of next week.

    Day 20 – Sun March 26DNW
    Day 21 – Mon March 27DNW
    Day 22 – Tues March 28DNW
    Day 23 – Wed March 29DNW
    Day 24 – Thurs March 30149.4

Day 26 – Sat April 01 148.8 Met my weekly goal already... should I revise it? Arghh, I dunno!
    Day 27 – Sun April 02 149.2
    Day 28 – Mon April 03 150.0 oh dear!
    Day 29 – Tues April 04 150.0 😖
    Day 30 – Wed April 05 149.6
    Day 31 – Thurs April 06 148.8
    Day 32 – Fri April 07 148.6

    5th week goal weight: 149.0
    5th week actual weight: 148.6

    Day 33 – Sat April 08 149.6
    Day 34 – Sun April 09
    Day 35 – Mon April 10
    Day 36 – Tues April 11
    Day 37 – Wed April 12
    Day 38 – Thurs April 13
    Day 39 – Fri April 14

    6th week goal weight: 148.5

Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

Day 33-04/08-188.8-(Trend weight 191.6) Yes! Yes! Yes! 0.4 lbs. to go to (re) reach my mini Easter goal. You can bet I’ll be sucking down the water and watching every morsel, every BLT today!

Had a big splurge day yesterday but luckily I'm not experiencing a guilt trip from it. Tomorrow is my 'official' weigh day, hoping to be back down to Friday's weight.

    5th week goal weight: 141.0
5th week actual weight: 141.0 - Started the week at 141.0 - Once every 3 month Ribs consumed for this 100, glad that I got that off in one week.
Excess exercise calories burned (in the green on MFP) - 4636 - Average of 662.28 over 7 days

Day 33 – Sat April 08 - 140.8 - Normally I go outside of my weekday foods on Fridays and Saturdays. I had 6 wings last night and adult beverages. We'll see what I get into today. Lots of healthy food in the house for Sunday to Thursday.

72 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
