Forgot to post. I was surprised about the bump in weight this week, but then realized I had not been sleeping well the 2 or 3 days before weigh-in, I had not drunk much water the day before weigh-in, and I had taken about 1/2 the number of steps during the week than I had the week before. So not totally surprised about the bump in weight on the scale. I then decided to check my measurements for the 1st time in 6 weeks and found that I had lost inches everywhere that I measured including my waist going down 2.5 inches.
For this week my goal is to bump back up my water intake and increase my number of steps.9 -

04/01-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)-
04/02-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- They have taken away one of my bp meds but my bp is still running way way too low. I am sucking down water and eating pinches of salt. I am keeping my feet elevated over my heart. All of it helps but then it just dips back down again. I am still not allowed to do anything in the form of exercise. My overall daily calorie burn has only been in the 1800โs or early 1900โs and I can feel my pants getting a bit tighter. Losing weight and getting my glucose down (T2D) is challenging enough without these roadblocks! Tomorrow is travel to the same town as my heart failure clinic. I will be taking my bp machine in so cardiologist can download my numbers. The nurses will call me later with the most current advice. Iโve been trying to busy myself with some organizing projects to keep me up and moving. I hope this will all resove itself soon. I want my life back! As soon as I am cleared for exercise and I can get moving again, I will get on the scale. In the meantime, I donโt need it to know that eating and laying down with your feet up constantly causes weight gain. Iโve got enough to be depressed about!
04/12-193.2-(Trend Weight: 192.0)- Weighing in late after the holiday due to travel and time restraints. It was a good day yesterday. Diet was on point and I got plenty of steps/movement/exercise raking the yard and burning leaves. I will be working on that project over the course of many days. I think the uptick is just the โdays later falloutโ or โhangoverโ, if you will, from days ago during the holiday and travel. Staying the course and hoping it will start reflecting that soon. The 180โs are pretty angry right now that I left them in the dust.

I am finally losing some weight, not a bunch but slow and steady, I'm not doing anything that I won't be doing 15 years from now. So no diets, just lifestyle change with eating habits and exercise. Have a great month everyone.

04/16-187.4-(Trend Weight: 191.6)- After walking through fire, walking along some pretty high tightropes, and a couple of nice whooshes, (and getting my blood pressure regulated so I could do a bit of exercise), I am firmly back in the 180โs and working toward my goal. Iโve even slashed the 190โs off my colorful chart below (finally). Spring has arrived, but we are expecting the weather to turn again in Northern Michigan. They are calling for thunderstorms today, snow tomorrow and Tuesday. Ugh!
