    My name is Donna. I am 62 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall.

    Start Weight (from March 1st, 2023 ): 191.6 (Re-doing March in April due to health issues)
    Goal Weight: 186.6 (5 pound loss)

    End of Challenge Weight: xxxxx
    Ultimate Goal Weight: 145-155 (I’ll know it when I get there!)



    Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.


    04/01-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)-

    04/02-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- They have taken away one of my bp meds but my bp is still running way way too low. I am sucking down water and eating pinches of salt. I am keeping my feet elevated over my heart. All of it helps but then it just dips back down again. I am still not allowed to do anything in the form of exercise. My overall daily calorie burn has only been in the 1800’s or early 1900’s and I can feel my pants getting a bit tighter. Losing weight and getting my glucose down (T2D) is challenging enough without these roadblocks! Tomorrow is travel to the same town as my heart failure clinic. I will be taking my bp machine in so cardiologist can download my numbers. The nurses will call me later with the most current advice. I’ve been trying to busy myself with some organizing projects to keep me up and moving. I hope this will all resove itself soon. I want my life back! As soon as I am cleared for exercise and I can get moving again, I will get on the scale. In the meantime, I don’t need it to know that eating and laying down with your feet up constantly causes weight gain. I’ve got enough to be depressed about!

    04/12-193.2-(Trend Weight: 192.0)- Weighing in late after the holiday due to travel and time restraints. It was a good day yesterday. Diet was on point and I got plenty of steps/movement/exercise raking the yard and burning leaves. I will be working on that project over the course of many days. I think the uptick is just the “days later fallout” or “hangover”, if you will, from days ago during the holiday and travel. Staying the course and hoping it will start reflecting that soon. The 180’s are pretty angry right now that I left them in the dust.
