Today, I'm the only person who put food in my mouth.
While it's true every day and paradoxically both profound and mundane, I'm going to call it a non-scale victory to admit it!7 -
One of the best NSVs I had was when I was seated and I could easily cross my legs when I couldn't do that before. That's when I knew I was making progress.10

Finally deadlifted 400 lbs in a powerlifting meet!!! 402.3 lbs to be exact! Been chasing this number for FIVE years!

I stuck to my meal plan today! Despite many temptations and reasons to go off plan!13

My big nsv was that I measured my resting pulse today in the mid 60s! I don't think it has been there for years! Over 400 lb guy.
I'll be crossing over the one month milestone of doing workouts tomorrow, so I'm thrilled about that! Things are going great!

Doing my at home cardio workout last night (lots of bouncing) and my Nike shorts bounced right down my legs and to the floor!!!

LMAO! At least you were at home. Would have been worse at a gym!7 -
I went from 10lb dumbbells to 12lb dumbbells and think I can soon go a bit heavier. Thrilled I’m making progress!
Also instead of candy at night i had some sweet juicy pineapple.

I'm just a month into this iteration of weight loss.(Been obese for 30 years and yo-yoing 10 pounds up and down the entire time.) A friend I hadn't seen in several weeks asked if I'd lost weight! That was a first!!!!19

I lost half an inch on my waist. 😊20

Just been to the Dr this morning:
1. Blood pressure at 109/54 so he's completely taken me off 1 of my BP meds. Would like to reduce my other BP med but wants to wait about 6 weeks to see where its at. I'm happy with that!
2. HBA1C is almost at normal for the second time in a row. Wants to check in June again and if still normal wants to either reduce or completely stop my Metformin. He said "You have effectively reversed your T2 diabetes"
Yay me32 -
Two ladies half my age made a point of crossing the gym and saying they’d been admiring my back during my seated rows.
That made me feel like a million bucks.26 -
This may be weird: I ate a totally ridiculous amount of amazing food without guilt!
I've been very good about eating for months, I'm down almost 100lbs in a year. My friend took me out to a Brazillian BBQ and I got absolutely stuffed. Because I knew this was a special treat, not "cheating" or giving up on the plan, I felt absolutely no shame - which hasn't always been the case - enjoying myself.
And today, I'll eat properly again. If I'm ever hungry again after all that food. Which is doubtful25 -
Had a staycation with my daughter for her spring recess and for four days we went roller skating in the park. What beautiful and exciting days we had skating in the park. It was my daughter's idea and I'm glad the weather was fitting for the occasion. Which has motivated me to exercise even more. The scale may haven't moved much but the clothes are fitting loosely.16

Oooo I had a couple of these lately….
Need to get the wedding ring resized! Keeps falling off hahaha…
Have to tie by shorts when working out now because all the jumping and bouncing, they fall down!
Have not bought a delish Coke Zero at the grocery checkout in 4 weeks!!13 -
I'm down 12.25 percent body weight since my last doctor's appointment 6 months ago. I go in for labs next week. My doc is going to be shocked again. Hopefully I see another drastic improvement in my blood glucose, cholesterol, and kidney function again this time also. I'm also finally in a healthy BMI range.23

NSV - I can put my socks on standing up now.
...not that I do very often because it's weird, but give it a try!17 -

There was a recent study that found that people who couldn’t balance on one foot were twice as likely to die in the next 10 years… getting dressed in the morning has taken on new meaning since I read about it!

Ran my 2nd 5km race of the year and I beat my previous time by 34 seconds!18

I have 3 over the last three days!
1) On Saturday when I went for my run, I took my fuel belt to have water on my run. I had to tighten it up - and it wasn't because I wasn't wearing my thicker winter jacket. I hadn't used my fuel belt since the fall.
2) I wore jeans on Friday I haven't worn in a year, and the last time I wore them I couldn't button them close and was using a hair elastic to help "button" them closed.
3) I am wearing dress pants to work today that I haven't worn in over a year!
I had one person make a comment to me recently about my weight loss. I wasn't seeing any evidence of it myself. Now I do!

I am now taking the stairs at work rather than using the elevator!19

I have been doing that as well now since December - by default. The elevator is broken. When it's finally fixed I may take it a time or two to enjoy having the elevator again, but most likely will still take the stairs. The office is only on the 3rd floor
