I'm from the south so I use sweetie pie, hunny/hun, and darling a lot. These are applied to both girls and guys. But I don't use doll

I have a confession to make. Frequently my internal running monologue (think JD from scrubs/ guy noir), uses a 50's detective/italian gangster voice and calls all women either "dames" or "broads". I don't think I've ever used it outloud haha.

While I think that would be interesting to hear aloud.... I'm not sure it would be in your best interest to do so.

Please do. Gangster voice and all. And record it for my viewing pleasure.

    Haha we'll see

I say it when I'm trying to be a condescending b*tch to someone...

Kind of like: "Bless your little heart..." ?

Which means, when translated, Shut up you stupid b!tch!

I say "Bless your little heart" or "God bless your little heart", but I never mean it as being condescending at all. When did that become condescending? My Grandma used to say "God bless your little heart" all the time and it was never used in a condescending way. That just seems weird to me that someone would consider that phrase condescending. :ohwell:
