    Hi everyone,
    I hope it’s ok to join April’s challenge so late in the month - some accountability will really help me 😊

    I’ve not been very engaged with MFP for a while now and have gained a little weight. Thankfully I haven’t gained too much but I’m ready to get back on track and continue my health journey.

    April start weight: (18th April) 75.2kg
    April Goal Weight: 74.2kg
    Ultimate Goal Weight: 65kg

    I used to be off and on of MFP and SparkPeople but not really interacting with the boards/community other than to read a few things here and there. This time since I really started my weight loss and health journey, I joined challenges like this, read and favorited many of the posts, and weighed myself and tracked my food 98% of the time for the last year and a half. During that time I reached my ultimate goal of being below my pre-kids weight (the oldest is 30 yo and getting married this weekend), and have maintained below that ultimate goal weight for the last 12 months.

    I'm back on MFP after a year of being MIA... I'm unhappy with my weight gain and I'm looking for challenges to get myself motivated and back into the routine.

    My name is Donna. I am 62 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall.

    Start Weight (from March 1st, 2023 ): 191.6 (Re-doing March in April due to health issues)
    Goal Weight: 186.6 (5 pound loss)

    End of Challenge Weight: xxxxx
    Ultimate Goal Weight: 145-155 (I’ll know it when I get there!)



    Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.

    04/16-187.4-(Trend Weight: 191.6)- After walking through fire, walking along some pretty high tightropes, and a couple of nice whooshes, (and getting my blood pressure regulated so I could do a bit of exercise), I am firmly back in the 180’s and working toward my goal. I’ve even slashed the 190’s off my colorful chart below (finally). Spring has arrived, but we are expecting the weather to turn again in Northern Michigan. They are calling for thunderstorms today, snow tomorrow and Tuesday. Ugh!

    04/23-190.6-(Trend Weight: 190.9)- EVERY SINGLE TIME I don’t log I end up showing a gain on the scale. No matter how busy I may get today, I am logging everything and watching the sodium column closely!
