Trying to loose my last 10 lbs

GM everyone, my name is Rose, I have lost 66lbs on my own but the last 10 I can’t. This is why I joined. I followed the plan on my first week and no results. I should have measured myself but I will today. Any input would be greatful

Have you entered your height, weight etc and followed the calories this app suggested. If so you could try exercises such as walk/jog/bike

Are you already at a healthy weight and BF%? If you are, it's going to be very slow going. Your body, hormones, chemical makeup, etc don't really care what arbitrary number you'd like to be on the scale...if you're at a healthy weight and healthy BF% your body is going to try to maintain homeostasis. Being overly thin or lean isn't "natural" as per our evolutionary biology. Trying to get lean when you're already relatively lean is a tough road to ho and your body will fight it.

Also, weight loss tends not to be linear. I figure it's generally a good plan to follow a new routine for 4-6 weeks and look at the weekly average progress over that time period. Sometimes there's just a weird week, and in a future week there's catch-up loss. (It's usually because of shifts in water retention, not because the fat loss rate changes dramatically.)

It's also a sad fact that calorie counting is a surprisingly subtle skill, so it has a learning curve. Most of us who've been doing it for a while do stumble over significant issues (things we missed or underestimated) that need to be corrected. Commonly, we under-count calories eaten, and over-count calories burned, according to research.

If you take a look in the "Most Helpful Posts" section under "Health and Weight Loss" here in the Community, you'll find some good threads about how to improve your logging accuracy. Here's a direct link to that area:

If you're not using a food scale, that's a help to accuracy, and IMO it also makes logging easier and quicker.

    Best wishes for success!
