Just reading this myself and it gave me the guts to buy a yoga shorts and crop top set.10

Just found this thread a few weeks ago, thanks to the people who revived it through bumps, and finally got to the end of the posts. Its phenomenal!8

I want y'all to know that I wore a crop top today for the first time in my life. I was definitely more comfortable in it in the morning than I was by late afternoon, but even when I felt like my mom pooch was visible in the high waisted pants I paired with the top, I think I was still pretty cute.12

Someone linked to this thread recently and it occurred to me...as of Nov 3, I no longer have a uterus - it's only fat making my stomach look fat, lol! I forgot to ask my surgeon the total weight of my fibroids and uterus, will do Monday. (I had asked her previously but she was waiting to get that from the final pathology report, which was clear of cancer. Forgot about wanting the weight.)
I currently have a lovely stapled 13" incision and could care less about the scar I'm going to have.12 -

I got a lovely tattoo over mine when it had heeled. Like you I wasn’t bothered about the scar but actually I wanted to celebrate what it meant to me. So I got cherry blossom on my tummy 😀

I know, this is on Facebook, so probably not everyone can view it. I'm sorry. I couldn't find it elsewhere: I tried.
For those who can see it, I think it's very on point about real women's abdomens, and how posers pose to make themselves look better than they would if we met them IRL.

I know nothing about this trainer except that she made this honest and IMO useful video, so please don't interpret this as an endorsement or advertisement.11 -

Lots of recent posts from ladies unhappy with their tummies. Here’s two pics from another post I commented on. Both me, both same timeframe. One flexed and in the morning, one breathing in and bracing hard for a lift.

My biggest issue is the loose wrinkly skin on my belly. I had three 8+ pound babies in my mid- to late 30s, and I guess by then my skin had lost some of its elasticity. I didn’t get stretch marks, but the skin didn’t exactly bounce back into shape.
As I am turning 54 this summer, my crop top days are probably best left behind me, but I wish I felt more confident in a bikini. I know with a few more pounds on me the wrinkles are less noticeable (on my face as well as my stomach). But barring surgery, I don’t know if there’s any other way of improving their appearance.

Girl - wear the crop top! Be proud of the body you have! Trust me, we are all worrying about how we look to notice how you look 😊5
