Bug: food can be added without meal being selected, food not listed in diary

To recreate problem:
The food items are added. The calories, and other nutritional data, are logged, but the food items are not displayed in the Diary.
The calories for the added food are included in the Calories Remaining > Food total, but the food items are not listed in the diary in Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or Snacks.
See attached screenshot.
The food items are listed in the Nutrition modal in "Foods Highest in Calories".
There does not appear to be anyway to correct this or to edit the food items.
I submitted a support request a week ago, but I have not received a response.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Have you found a way to fix it?
Screenshot of Diary
- At the beginning of the day, touch the search field and display the food logging modal
- Do not use the selection menu to select a Meal, but observe that none is selected
- Touch the My Meals tab
- Add a Meal
- Touch the Diary icon and view the Diary

Hi,
I am having the exact same issue and it is driving me crazy. Whaat is the solution for this? At the minute I have logged foods which count towards my total calories which I cant remove or edit and it is messing up all of my data.
Please advise.

In Android, there is a pencil mark at the top of the diary. Tap on that and then check the box 'select all' and delete. Does that delete the invisible foods?
There should be a similar option in iOS (perhaps that 'Edit' button top left?).0 -
Hello, did anyone get an answer for this at all?0

This has started happening to me. But it’s only been for about a week. And it’s one specific meal that won’t log so far. Calories are counted but food doesn’t appear. Very weird0

Oh, good, I’m not alone! Happened to me this morning and I’m going crazy trying to figure it out! Looking for an answer … apparently there isn’t one. Disappointing. Guess we just all need to be super-careful when logging.0

I can confirm that @Lietchi 's suggestion of hitting the pencil edit button at the top of the diary, then select all, and then clicking the trash can to delete all items does resolve this issue on Android.1

Also having the same issue0

Still appears to be occuring on the android app. However this happened after I'd added multiple other items, so i had to delete all the items for today and re-add them while making sure I had a meal selected.0
