Kinda screwed myself with Zwift workouts - I forgot that the optional prep workouts and week 1 workouts are pretty much all to be done in the same week lolz - so of course, I did the optional ones and now have to cram the 3 in for the week prior to close of business Wednesday. And I have the last Spring Training workout on Monday. And I'm starting week 2 of this training plan on Thursday. Gonna be nothing but workout rides (and additional milage to either round out the final mile or to get to the daily 10) until Thursday night. WeEeEeE!!!!!

This weekend did a mtb trip to Brevard, NC. 2 fairly epic 3 hour rides in Pisgah/Dupont.
My 20+ lb weight loss resulted in 58 PR's on strava 🤣

@Rich_SC Excellent!! I love the Assault on the Carolinas. Starts and ends in Brevard. Goes up Walnut Hollow and Cesar's Head. Sure, it's road and not mtb, but still epic imho!
Today's workout was the last of the Zwift 'Spring Training' workouts. And it sucked. My knees are not a fan of forced high cadence efforts - they'd rather I stand on the pedals and mash a bit.

Daily 10 incorporated in a Zwift training plan workout. Had to kick my butt into gear to finish all the weekly workouts plus those prep workouts and the last Spring Training workout. As a result, tomorrow will be an easy 10 with a slow pace partner. Friday I'm going to do a sprint-tri (unofficial, just me with my watch and the neighborhood pool) to see if I'm able to hit the time wickets with all three disciplines following one another.

@Mari33a Unfortunately, I wasn't - the weather simply didn't support swimming in the outdoor pool (temperature never got above 65F during the times it's clear of child-infestation). Boo. But today I did a half-marathon! AND a Zwift workout, because apparently my brain needs recalibration.

I hear you on the kids and pool @wendsg. I like to swim on a Saturday cos too much going on during the week but they don't have an adults only slot then (only during the week). And there can be a lot of Dads with kids. They usually play ball across the pool or use the kids as footballs tossing them in the air with no regard for any other pool users The kids themselves are mostly really considerate! - Rant Over2 -
Pffff, here we just have the problems of the parents who don't bother paying attention to the kids, so they're wilding all over the danged place. Ugh. Gonna take my mother up on the offer to use the lap pool at their retirement community!
Great workout today - went up the Alpe du Zwift. Robbed me of overall milage, but got me tons of experience points in Zwift and an easy ride down lol
