Mindfulness of my health

Since I have fibromyalgia, I was mindful to stretch after walking. I listened to how my body felt to determine when to stop walking.

Great idea to stretch after walking! I don't have FM, but I do have knee, ankle, and plantar fasciitis issues, and I'm always struggling with moderating my walking. It doesn't hurt during, but it can hurt quite a bit after. I'm walking on new trails in the woods, so don't know the best spot to turn around. I'm trying to use a timer to prompt me to turn around.
If I don't stretch at night, I can have awful back pain in the AM. I try to do around 40 minutes at 8 PM. Sometimes I am challenged by being too tired, so need to force myself.1 -
You got this! Thank you so much for responding to my post. I have the same challenge with stretching after walking. One day at a time. I am stretching now with my feet and legs while responding to your post.0
