Took my first shot today. Hoping for no side effects but am ready if I have them. Making sure to eat healthy and still track, for one day, I would like to come odd the prescription after weight loss goal is achieved and my A1C reaches a normal range.

    How were you prescribed it? I am currently on Metformin for PCOS and prediabetes. I recently saw my cousin and she looks AMAZING. She's been on Ozempic for about a year, but I heard that it was on back order.

    not sure what country OP is in.

    In Australia ozempic is back on market although supplies still limited.

    Pharmacists have been asked to prioritise diabetics over people just wanting to aid weight loss.

    I expect situation is similar in other countries - and given OP is trying to reduce HBA1c, I presume she is diabetic.
