I felt confident enough to wear a two piece bathing suit, for the first time in a very long time (I'm 42, have given birth and have the marks to show it - but honestly, feeling proud of that accomplishment is the correct way to feel, I think.
Or maybe I'm just getting older and don't give a *kitten* what other people think anymore29 -
These images were taken one year apart. There's 32 lbs difference between the one on the left and the one on the right!

@soykk1995 I am SO proud of you!! Please keep going! I have often said it's much better to go slow and lose 20 pounds a year for a PERMANENT win than to take the same pounds off and on over and over again. You are WORTH IT! Imagine losing 25 to 30 pounds each and every year? Don't think about the time it takes...just take it one pound and one year at a time. Such an accomplishment deserves a wonderful reward. Please consider a relaxing massage at a day spa to get the lymph in your body flowing and enjoy the power of loving touch. If only a back massage. Try Yoga With Adriene on You Tube for gentle movement and to connect with your spirit. Finally...deep clean your bedroom, have a lovely hot shower with beautiful scent and drift off into dreamland under crisp, clean sheets. If possible, do this all in one day and remember that you are so loved and valuable......as you begin another year of focus....and kick it up a notch next year. New sheets, longer massage, etc....Please keep us posted.9

Today a belt fitted me that I haven’t worn for years. It didn’t fit two weeks ago. I can now wear all my new clothes my mother-in-law bought for me from overseas last year. I just donated big clothes and now I have more clothes to donate. I haven’t lost weight this week but I have lost 3 cm off my hips. I’ve lost two trouser sizes in 3 months. Now off to enjoy a wedding tonight!!18

I am back on Fitness Pal. Fell off track, some stressful times. Just started my journey back to health. So I did something extreme. I’m on a two week fast of bread, pasta, crackers, cookies, cake. One week done and 7 # lost. I sure miss my comfort foods, and find making healthy vegetable and fruit sides cumbersome…but I’m not starving. NSV I completed an entire week. One more week and I’ll slowly in control add some things back in.13

Wow!!! I totally misread that.
Part of me was thinking “is she *kitten* nuts?” while the other part of me was thinking “I could totally get behind that fast!” while slapping myself for even considering it.
Welcome back!12 -
I went to see the doctor today and my blood pressure is down enough that I didn't get admonished this time
Afterward I again looked at a list of suggestions for lowering one's blood pressure (a goal I've been working on), and I realized that I have literally all of them covered now: no alcohol, no added sugar, no caffeine, low sodium, using 50/50 sodium/potassium salt, working on lowering my stress level and starting to exercise. So the only thing left now is to keep losing weight. Feels good to be doing the right thing.28 -
Wore a smaller sized bathing suit for my swim this morning.22

Put on pants today that I know fit perfectly a few weeks ago and realized by the time I got to work that I should have worn a belt with them.15

Oh noes 🙈 By the way I love your avatar.3 -
Doctor is taking me off one of my blood pressure meds and cautiously taking me off my cholesterol medication (with the caveat that we monitor it with blood tests every 3 mo)22

I can recognize feelings in my body when I've made poor diet choices more easily, so I'm learning what I need to avoid to feel my best.22

Several years ago I bought some beautiful Rifle Paper Co Keds. They never fit comfortably, so I never wore them. But they were so beautiful I couldn’t bear to get rid of them, so they’ve sat in the closet ever since.
Two or three months ago, my feet suddenly shrank. I’ve been noticing how long and narrow they look on my mat. They look so foreign now. It’s like someone else’s feet were surgically attached to me.
So this morning I put on a fun orange linen dress (an NSV in and of itself!) and thought “those flowery Keds would be awesome with this dress”.
They are and they now fit perfect and are comfortable!!

Took 1/2 of my bathing suits to good will today. Too big.20

I'm wearing jeans and a shirt that wouldnt have buttoned and fitted nicely not so long ago. I look good and I feel good.22

I wore these pants today and they fit comfortably!! YES!
I wore them with a safety pin two months ago when on vacation, and last month I still couldn't zip and close the button. Before vacation they was tight, uncomfortable. I am not weighing myself, and most of my clothes are stretch or large enough so I didn't really perceive a change.
So happy. I'll keep doing what I am doing.19 -
I uninstalled all food delivery apps from my phone. Ordering unhealthy foods was a major bad habit i intended to break.26

I have been going to Inferno Hot Pilates classes 3 to 4 times per week. Last night in class for the first time I was able to do most of the jumping jacks and most of the burpees. In the past I jogged in place during the rounds of jumping jacks and for the burpees I walked through them instead of jumping out and in.18

My coworker's look of disbelief when I said I planned to lose another 40lbs. "Do you have 40 lbs you can lose? You'd be all skin and bones." ... I hide my weight well.19

I actually have a lap now that my cat can sit on 🐈22

I climbed a v5 yesterday. It was almost certainly mis-graded, but it was still nice to get. I have improved a bit over the last year, going from getting some v3s to getting most v3s and the odd v4.13

My current non scale victory is gold to me right now as the scale seems stuck! 😭 My hips are under 40 inches for the first time in a few years. And my waist is 31 inches.....which is down from 32 inches in early June. Thank goodness for tracking measurements!24

A year and a half ago I was 388.6 pounds
Today I'm 217.5 and just ran for 45 minutes or 7.5 km on the treadmill today. Longest run I've done.45 -
I've lost a dress size and found much lower calorie snack options. I've also started to enjoy walking again.27

We own two micro-cars. Sometimes shopping etc can be like Tetris. I’m cool with that, it’s one of the negligible inconveniences of such tiny little cars.
We filled up the car with groceries for a big event tomorrow and had to pull the passenger seat as far up as possible.
Obese me had to sit folded up with my chin on my knees.
I am shocked. Not only is there room for my legs between the dash and seat, but I’m able to cross them.
This is epic.

I now have a waist again! My waist is smaller than my hips25

I'm down a bra size
@springlering62 Look at all that space around you! Such a nice NSV. Also that's a snazzy car, I love the red accents.12
