08/04-195.4-(Trend Weight 195.3)- Babysitting last night and today. Being with Owen always warms my heart. In regards to weight: TMI helped because otherwise, it was not the greatest of days. The meals were pre-planned and fine. The snacks were through the roof. However, I did some quick swaps and it helped. Gotta stay focused today. It will be easy and fine all day, it is when the moon comes out that the monsters awake.
08/05-196.6-(Trend Weight 195.4)- I went to a local festival and ate some baked goods that I know I had no business eating but the freshness really lured me in. Good music, auctions, crafts and more. It was nice to get out and walk around a bit.

@deepwoodslady I do tend to avoid a lot of higher fat foods...but lately I've noticed that I am also having problems with sugar...I don't tend to eat much sugar but it's the only thing that makes sense from the other night...😢1

I started with this group in July. I am Mary, 69 years old, 170 lbs, GW 150, maybe UGW 140. It would be great if my blood pressure improved with weight loss. I've lost 15 lbs this year, and lost another 6 as of July 2, but gained it back after a trip and haven't been able to get back down to 164. Logging and weighing might help me see how to make more progress. MFP isn't easy for me to work with but I'm starting to get used to it -- I'll be putting in my daily weight and checking for any change in my measurements. Still trying EF 16/8 with Keto but not married to it, if I don't make progress. I coming to believe exercise is the missing component for me. I'm working on regaining strength from long-lasting leg and ankle problems resulting from Guillain-Barre syndrome so I can get more steps.

Forgive me if I'm doing it wrong but I thought maybe it is a matter of cutting and pasting previous post to keep logging weight etc.
I started with this group in July. I am Mary, 69 years old, CW 170 lbs, GW 150, or maybe UGW 140. It would be great if my blood pressure improved with weight loss. I've lost 15 lbs this year, and lost another 6 but gained it back after a trip and haven't been able to get back down to 164. Logging and weighing might help me see how to make more progress. MFP isn't easy for me to work with but I'm starting to get used to it -- I'll be putting in my daily weight and checking for any change in my measurements. Still trying EF 16/8 with Keto but not married to it, if I don't make progress. I am coming to believe exercise is the missing component for me, and I'm working on regaining strength from long-lasting leg and ankle problems resulting from Guillain-Barre syndrome so I can get more steps.
I'm trying to eat way more vegetables! I know, I'm boring, but don't blame the veggies; they are so tasty.

😁9 year breast cancer survivor...Osteoarthritis in most of my joints...limited range of motion in my knees, but all bearable for now..
I went back and forth on joining...time is not my friend but I really love that their isn't 200 people in the group...I always have a hard time connecting In large groups...then I just end up quitting ...so really looking forward to this group😁😁😁

I’ll work on that and also will try to get some indoor exercise in. It’s a rainy day. Suffering with a stress induced headache right now from gritting and grinding teeth. It’s just not a good day.
08/07-195.8-(Trend Weight 195.6)- I am so glad to see the scale moving back down today. I must have been retaining some fluid because no TMI. Putting my feet up to drain my ankles is really helping. I’ve been working on cleaning up/organizing the basement which has me moving up & down the stairs along with some heavy lifting. But I am pacing myself and working on it a bit everyday so I don’t cause right arm lymphedema issues. I am still up 2 lbs from starting weight this round. I really need to get more pink ink on this page. I have my work cut out for me.

Adding steps here because: exercise. I don’t see how to add steps per se on MFP so I do a fiddly thing with approximating walking speed and duration of walk which is odd.

Aug 8 - 185 My own doing. My sister brought cake to Bingo with Mom night for my birthday (yup turned 63 today) and I ate more than I should. Also rained yesterday and didn't get my steps in. All around not a good day. Today my daughter is taking me out for lunch, but am going to try to stay in check the rest of the day. Hoping for a quick turn around.
