Anyone have any advice or routines for someone looking to build strength at home without equipment?

Despite the title implying otherwise, this thread suggests some bodyweight strength programs for beginners that can be done at home with minimal or no equipment:

There’s a great book out called You Are Your Own Gym on body weight exercises and I would imagine lots of YouTube videos on the same topic.
You can get very fit without ever stepping foot in a gym.0 -
You can try the long loop resistance bands. They are super affordable and flexible for strength training.0

Another option is TRX or suspension training. Minimal cost, can mimic some gym exercises and you're in total control of how much resistance to use.

As to "without equipment" I took a good bodyweight recovery break after spending some intensive months with dumbbells and bands at home during the pandemic - recommend the Youtube channel "Minus the Gym" with guidance from beginner to advanced:

Added a suspension trainer a couple of months ago and enjoying it a lot - simple positioning progresses from easy to serious challenge - so agree with others above. The TRX brand is pricey - the fitness "influencers" Bob & Brad on Youtube promote a similar piece branded "Flige" which is identical to the FitIndex I bought - Amazon Canada coupon price under U$30. The build quality is remarkable, it's rated to 400 pounds, and because it mounts a bit differently can overcome single-point limitations of TRX to a dual-point (as Bob and Brad demonstrate - though there are much better online instructors for the apparatus) with a little hardware.

It seems way too simple, but if you do fast walks (runs, hikes, etc), push-ups, sit-ups, burpees, and squats, you’ll get very fit over a 3+ month period.0
