Advice on how to calculate my macronutrients?

MFP macros are fine as a starting point.
Or aim for 0.6-0.8g of protein and 0.3-0.4g of fat per lb of bodyweight.0 -
Why not start with the MFP defaults and then adjust if they don't meet your preferences?0

I changed the macronutrient settings to 5%, 20% and 70%. I have a1200 calorie daily target based on my weight loss goals. Once you’ve changed the macro percentages, MFP will show how many grams of each category are remaining that day when you log your food intake. I hope that helps.

There isn't really a "right" way. Most people start with them either at the MFP defaults or change them to something pretty evenly balanced like a 30/35/35. But what you do is really up to you.0

40/30/30 is popular, or used to be (that's 40% carbs). MFP default is fine too. My only issue with MFP default is that if someone is doing 1200 and not adding exercise calories (which they should be if they are exercising), then the protein default is a bit low.
A good way to figure protein is .8 g per lb of goal weight, and then figure out what percentage that is -- for example, my current goal is 115, which would make my goal 92. I eat around 1600, so that's 23% protein as my preferred minimum -- the MFP default is 25%, so that would be fine. (Contrary to another poster, I would not recommend 20% at 1200.)
I don't actually do percentages, I look at total grams, but when you start keeping it simple is probably a good idea.0 -

Yes, those are the only three macros. You can track a total of five nutrients here: https://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary-settings but you can see all of them in Nutrition in the app. I encourage you to NOT focus on the micronutrients unless you have an actual medical reason to do so. As I learned from when I was anemic, users creating entries often don't bother with accuracy for micros so you have to verify everything, which is a waste of time unless there is an actual need. For example, I supplement with Vitamin C so getting information about that from MFP is not necessary.
