Hey everyone!! I hope you are all keeping well! Today is weigh-in day and honestly I wasn’t going to! I had a very stressful, mentally draining week which resulted in binge eating and 3-4 days of eating out! I thought well no sense trying to deny what happened and faced the scale and up 1lb. It wasn’t as bad as I thought! The difference was watching my carbs even if I made unhealthy choices and I added more minutes to the treadmill…this saved me…I think lol So a new week and new goals! This week I plan to stay under my calorie goal and add an extra 30 minutes of walking whether that is the treadmill or going to our local indoor walking track! My mindset is starting to shift and I couldn’t be more happy!! Have a great week all and for those who are struggling with forest fires, please stay safe ❤️

Hello. two years ago I lost 100 pounds with a lot of hard work. My husband died of COVID at age 39 in Oct 2021 and I gave up, and gained. Being a widow at 30 was an eye opener. I need to do this for my children.

OK this last week has been an eye opener
Being stuck inside and overeating sure didn’t help my health plans
I gained back all my hardwork loss and then some 😫
Today is already a good day, I got my cardio, & ST goals done.
Now for the rest of the day I'm eating responsible 👍

@200Karen ...you can do it. I know what it is like getting of track. I did the same this week. Started eating way too many carbs as they were the quickest and easiest things to grab.

Hi...you have already joined by posting on the this group.
We just weigh-in weekly post our gains or losses and try to encourage each other.
If you have any advice or things that work for you post them if you want to as we are always looking for different ideas.

Hi! Just participate and write a post when you feel like it. Some people post once a week to keep motivated and keep us motivated.3 -
Hi friends,
I am back to school and so far, I feel really good. Last year, the stress was so awful. This year, so far, I feel better mentally and physically.
Positive moments this week:
Packed a lunch every day (including last week). (Decided to pack something I actually like to eat instead of totally healthy; this is because I will enjoy my lunch instead of snack and crave chocolate.)
Less alcohol in the evening means less snacking and calories and better sleep.
Getting over 10,000 steps each day at work! That's 3,000 more steps than last year.
Lost four pounds since the start of this challenge.
Negatives:
Have not gone to work out after work; we are trying to cook at home instead of take out so I get home, rest and cook.... will need to manage that better.
Have not meditated or read a book like I had planned this week.

Yesterday, I got 18,362 steps. 10,000 at work and the rest in the evening. I went to a great concert with my daughter. We walked a lot to and from the venue. Today, my feet are sooooo sore. I am going to a foot spa nearby. Looking forward to it.
Fitbit says I have 80,883 steps this week. Yahoo!

This week was a bit hungry, have not started to work out but will next week. Maybe Sunday a nice treadmill or outside walk. No alcohol 20 days, I am getting use to it, and not having the witching moment every evening craving a drink. This is all about my health, not me (my other bad self) Hoping to see continued weightloss.5 -

It’s a little dive because it opened in a very old place that had been closed for 20 years. You can imagine the critter residue as it pretty much sits in the middle of the woods with nothing around it for miles and miles. It took a long time to get through all the inspections and water testing (new well) but it finally opened. In small towns like mine, we like to support small local business and each other so lots of people were there to enjoy and congratulate. It really is a little Andy Griffith-like in small towns like mine so, of course, we had to go. I chose my dinner carefully which kept the calories and carbs down. It was a nice evening. I finally inched my way back into a tiny bit of exercise yesterday after some potty/tummy troubles the last few days. I can feel my guts are still slightly inflamed but at least their not full! It’s raining and gloomy here today so handymen will be shifting gears and working inside. They were originally scheduled to replace a pipe on the roof. I won’t be able to exercise until this evening but will push myself to get it in. I’m usually so tired in the evenings, especially when it’s raining so heavily. It’s dark (need the lights on) and cold. I’m about ready to turn on the heat. Very strange weather in August, even for Michigan.

August
01: 125.0
28: 126.0 holding after a rollercoaster ride 🎡
I’ve been unmotivated to eat right.
This started, 2 weeks ago. I was unable to go to the gym because of the air quality, then I added fear of covid returning. Which has me thinking gyms are so dirty and on & on until I was eating surgery treats, and feeling lethargic.
YES I know this will pass, this isn’t how you are and ALL that …
I am hopeful venting will revive my strength and positive attitude.
OK that’s it 😂 thanks for listening
Back to deep breathing and smiling ✅

@RubyRed427 best wishes as you start the new school year
Glad you are feeling so upbeat and inspired 💞
@Sistersue3285 🙏🏻 prayers you was able to see your pain doctor and found relief
@frankwbrown congrats on your loss 👍
@machchic bet you will see the continuing weight loss 🏆
I've been doing Intermittent Fasting for about 2 months and it helped with my uncontrollable late night eating
@deepwoodslady your town sounds wonderful as did Monday's night dining with your friend at the newly opened restaurant. Prayers for relief with your tummy troubles 🧡

08/31-191.8-(Trend Weight: 195.2)- 2 lbs down this month. I’m posting late due to the travel to the endocrinologist today for my diabetes. His scale showed that I was down a couple of pounds from my last visit. He was happy to see my glucose numbers on my monitor were better. He reminded me that excess sugars in the blood are stored as fat and when I keep my numbers better, I maintain much better and even lose weight. I needed that reminder. I left feeling very inspired and able. I ate most of my Chicken Alfredo at the restaurant for lunch today. It was so so good. I will finish the rest tonight for dinner so I will be 100% back on plan tomorrow. I will not be snacking tonight since it is already getting late. Tomorrow I have a huge bow window being put in my living room to replace the old picture window that was flanked on each side. I also have to start getting up early on Fridays to drive my kindergarten grandson to the nearby bus stop by 7:20 am. I have to get him up and get him ready for school since I always babysit on Thursday nights and Fridays. Then I will pick him up from the bus stop at about 4:00 pm. I am not looking forward to getting up that early since sleep is already so elusive. It’s not that I can’t handle the 6:30 part (which is when I’ll need to get up). It’s that no matter what time I get up, I seem to need about 2 hours to chill, drink coffee and get ready to see other human beings and be nice. Ah well. Nice round everyone! See you in the next.

I've been off Wegovy for 15 days now. My appetite IS coming back but I am eating very mindfully and hope to stick to my current weight of 150 lbs. I am turning 60 this month and really want to live my best life in every way. This means incorporating exercise, meditation, less alcohol, and healthy eating into my daily routine.
Happy September to all!6
