Can anyone say, "challenge accepted"? 🤭☕ (Although in fairness, should I share that I'm drinking out of a travel cup?)0

Didn't I call shotgun and navigate for a while? And didn't @Alinouveau2 send me to check out a covered bridge while she and others stopped for beer? 🤢 Aren't I almost positive you wanted a Guinness?frankwbrown wrote: »What were some of the other stops on the roadtrip?
 🙋♀️Who's having coffee right now?

            Can I drink tea instead?0
-
            What's your tea preference?0
-
Does sweet tea count? Or are you a purist who insists on hot cups of tea from steeped leaves?0

Don't you positively mean I wanted either chocolate or ice cream or both rather than beer? Although I had to try Guinness while in England, don't I generally avoid beer? Don't I opt for a Blue Moon Belgian White (or other witbier) when/if I do imbibe?

Having said that, wouldn't I like to give Left Hand Brewing Hard Wired Nitro a try?
(Doesn't "This Nitro coffee porter melds notes of caramelized sugar, cacao and hints of blueberry that lead to a light, roasty finish" sound intriguing?)

Couldn't one be drinking with a straw, cup on desk, leaving hands free to type in posts?0

            Hot coffee through a straw?0
-
Given that I always cool my coffee down to almost gulping temperature, wouldn't sipping through a straw be possible for me, although somehow doesn't that seem desirable only when the coffee is iced?
(Aren't I typing this now "between sips" of my morning coffee?)0

Paper straws are worse for the environment than plastic...do you think we will go back to plastic?0
-
            Do we need straws?0
-
How many holes does a straw have?0
-
If you do need/want a straw, can't you opt for a reusable glass or metal straw?
Don't I have four of each? (Aren't the glass ones too thick to fit thru the hole in at least one of my tumbler lids)

Don't I have an aversion to metal straws after reading an article about a woman who died in a freak accident - stabbing herself with a metal straw affixed in the lid of a Mason jar?0

Are reusable straws easy to clean on the inside?0

Didn't you read the recent scientific study that identified more harmful "forever" chemicals in paper straws then plastic ones? And aren't paper straws usually in plastic wrappers?0
-
Aren't there a lot of 'may' and 'could' in those reports?
I haven't seen individually wrapped ones here, have you?

Didn't I read that study just the other day? Isn't it a shame that most single-use straws contain PFAs... and "animal studies suggest that an accumulation of these chemicals over time could cause a range of appalling side effects, including liver damage, a weakened immune system, underweight babies and even infant death"? Haven't I gone almost completely straw-less?paperpudding wrote: »

            Haven't I gone almost completely straw-less?
despite my previous facetious remark about simultaneous coffee and straws and typing - don't I not use straws at all myself?

            Who invented the straw?0

The strawman? Is that a strawman argument? 😂1

Can you hear my applause @frankwbrown ? 👏0

Applause...who decided that hitting oneself is a sign of appreciation/ approval?1

            Wasn't it the ancient Romans?0
-
But aren't there mentions of clapping in the bible, pre Roman times?1
-
Didn't ancient Romans use finger snapping to show their approval of something?1
