No more hypertension

after 61 days on MFP and working out 4-5 days a week, I started with extremely high blood pressure and today I'm on the low end of "pre-hypertension." My doc asked me if I wanted meds 3 months ago and I told him I would work on it myself and BOOM!

That's great. Losing weight helped me get off of some of my high blood pressure meds and reduce the dose of others. I hope to eventually get off all my blood pressure meds.

Congrats! I've had the same outcome. It's great to see all the "other" improvements when the weight comes off.

That is awesome! I am just starting out and one of the reasons is because I have really high blood pressure. I really hope that I can have results like you so that I don't have to go on meds. How much weight did you lose?
