Hey I am trying to come up with different foods to buy/get at the grocery so I can start my diet. Can yall kinda make a list of the different foods you eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. I need lots of ideas so I don't get board with my own please.

Here are some of the things I like to buy and eat on a weekly basis:

    Apples
    grapes
    bananas
    oranges (when in season)
    strawberries (when in season)
    watermelon
    carrots
    lettuce
    cucumbers
    tomatoes
    potatoes
    fat-free milk
    frozen chicken breast
    Special K regular cereal
    Quaker Instant Oatmeal
    Cheerios (regular)
    wheat bread
lean ground beef (I buy this from a butcher shop, and I buy the leanest I can find)
frozen veggies (broccoli, green beans, mixed veggies, corn)

I try to buy a wide variety of foods when I go grocery shopping. When I get home from shopping, I try to wash my produce and have it in a container so it's easy to grab when I want a snack. Also, I have found that buying head lettuce is cheaper and lasts a lot longer than the bagged lettuce. I buy frozen veggies instead of canned veggies because the frozen ones have less sodium and still have a high nutrition content.

I don't really deny myself many foods, as I know that doing so would lead to long-term failure for me. So, I'm trying to eat more of the healthy foods and less of the not so healthy foods, but I don't completely deny myself. I look at this as a lifestyle change rather than a diet, so for me, I need to make choices that I can live with for the rest of my life.

I don't get easily bored with foods so I tend to have the same breakfast and snacks each day. I do cook supper with intentions of having leftovers for lunch the next day,

    My everyday foods are:
    Eggs
    Fage 2% Greek Yoghurt
    Roasted almonds or Virginia peanuts
    Cheese
    Dried cherries
    Sliced almonds
    Organic greens
    Cherry tomatoes
    Bleu cheese crumbles
    No salt added tuna

I typically eat the same thing every day, too. My staples are

    Old Fashioned Oats
Blue Diamond Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
    Silk Light Vanilla Soy Milk
    Smucker's Natural Chunky Peanut Butter
    Steamfresh frozen veggies
    Apples
    Bananas
    Grapes
    Salmon/Tuna
    Chicken breasts/thighs
    Lettuce
    Avocado
Bell Peppers (red, green, yellow, orange)

    Good luck!!!

FiberPlus Cereal (when I don't have a quiche made)
    Fat free milk
    ground turkey
    chicken breast
    corn tostadas
quinoa (buy bulk at Costco, and it's organic, so it lasts a while)
Frozen meals for lunch from Trader Joes (less crap then the others)
soda (I need my 1 Coke Zero a day)
Bottled water (the water in my condo is soooo bad that even filters don't help it)
Crystal light (by the huge box at Costco)
Frozen Turkey meatballs (with pasta sauce on a hoagie roll makes great meatball subs)
    Pork chops
    Pork Tenderloin

I get bored easy and I've reinvented many of my favorites to make them healthier.
Can of black beans, drained and rinsed then mashed with a little water and salt makes a great substitute for refried beans and a great base for tostadas.
Ground turkey can replace ground beef and makes a killer Turkey and Quinoa Meatloaf (allrecipes.com)

Friend me if you need help!!!
