I didn't lose any this week but didn't gain. So, it's a small win. Since I've been back to work, my calorie count during the day is low. I'm too busy to snack or eat until 1:30 p.m. (my late lunch). I'm adjusting to the late lunch after a few weeks now. I walk over 10,000 steps per day.

09/05-192.0-(Trend Weight: 194.3)- Another hot humid day here in Michigan. Being surrounded by the largest fresh-water lakes on Earth always brings such humidity! It does feel like Florida again today here. The handymen took the day off due to some doctor appointments they had so I should easily be able to fit in more exercise if the heat doesn’t get to me! Yesterday was a very good day food wise. I got in about 21 minutes on the exercise bike as well late last night. I am zig-zagging my calories and carbs and yesterday was the lowest day planned for this week. I was tempted…..but I kept to my pre-logging plan. I’m glad I did. I’m still striving for those elusive 180’s.
09/12-191.2-(Trend Weight: 193.4)- Weather turned quite chilly now for the past week. I’m hoping on Indian Summer but we shall see. It’s been a week of ups and downs but I finally reigned it in and am seeing more progress.

Man, this wagon is so easy to fall off of, isn't it? I need some more side rails or something! But I've never been a quitter and I'm not about to start now. So fingers crossed I can get below 189 by the end of September as my goal is always really to just weigh less than how I started!
Setting a new goal for October 31st as I realized aiming for 1 lb per week is more realistic for me right now and will hopefully keep me from getting discouraged. Also, I think losing 10 lbs from the start sounds pretty good!

09/19-190.0-(Trend Weight: 191.9)- I’ve been feeling grateful for the losses on the scale but am very excited about my trend weight changes. It really affirms that I’m on the right trajectory and that some of the things I am doing are really working overall. I don’t think I will make my goal for September since having to post such a large overnight gain on the 1st of September, but I’ve reduced my weight every single week since then and I’m happy about that.

@RubyRed427 thanks again for creating this new challenge.
Currently, I'm focusing on eating more veggies and fruits, proteins, less grains, and for me, it makes a miraculous weight loss tool. May or may not work for others.
This week, I came across a general rule for breakfast smoothies, which helps in getting many servings of fruits and vegetables. some of you might find it useful.
1. Two varieties of leafy greens (anything except lettuce). One big leaf, or a handful of small leaves (I use Kale/Bak Choy+ Basil)
2. Two types of fruits. Either sweet, or tangy. 1/2 cup each.
3. 2 tbs soaked nuts
4. Half cup water.
Seasonal fruits & vegetables are preferred.
Hope this will help if someone is looking to increase consumption of fruits and vegetables.4
