09/19-190.0-(Trend Weight: 191.9)- I’ve been feeling grateful for the losses on the scale but am very excited about my trend weight changes. It really affirms that I’m on the right trajectory and that some of the things I am doing are really working overall. I don’t think I will make my goal for September since having to post such a large overnight gain on the 1st of September, but I’ve reduced my weight every single week since then and I’m happy about that.

09/26-187.6-(Trend Weight: 190.1)- I have exercised a little more and a little harder for most of this past week. On the food-front, most days I actually have a hard time eating enough calories. That seems very strange when I am eating a lot of healthy fat foods which tend to have more calories. I guess when they say that fat fills you up, it’s true. It must be helping me to cut my portions. Anyway, I am tweaking my MFP diary to make sure I get as close to my calorie goals as possible. I don’t want to slow up my metabolism by eating too little! I am still experimenting with zig-zagging too. It is going pretty well.

    9/12 200.8 lbs
    9/15. 200.1. lbs
    9/26 200.6 lbs

A little disappointed that I have not reached below 200 lbs.

I got to applaud the positive choices I have made:
*Over 10,000 steps per day for weeks
    * Today, I went to Planet Fitness at 5:50 am to work out before work. I really enjoyed it.
    * Eating decent breakfast each morning (Oatmeal with fruit- sometimes it's a McDonald's oatmeal which is delicious. I assume the McDonalds oatmeal has negative aspects, but it's better than a breakfast sandwich. )
    * Lunch is always a half ham sandwich with some mayo and mustard and a hard boiled egg.

Ok- I have to get back to focus on the 6 pounds lost.
But I know I can do more for my health and well being.

    Sherri from BC.

    Start weight 194.4lbs January 2023
    May 1st weight 194 lbs
    July 31 weight 183 lbs
    3 month goal 175 lbs
    Final goal 150 lbs

Starting out this month up but I know why. I'm retaining water but it shouldn't last too long ...I hope. Not sure if it is the heat or health issues.

    August 1 185.2 lbs

My husband is a cardiac patient. Water retention or an overnight weight fluctuation of three pounds or more should be shared with your doctor. It can be indicative of a serious health issue. The nice thing about this app is it will assist you with monitoring sodium intake. Best wishes for your health journey!

And...back down again this week. Will it still be down next week? It's a mystery.

This week I finally donated the last of my larger clothing. Unfortunately it was all of the fall/winter stuff that was left in my closet. So many empty hangers! I decided to go clothes shopping (which I detest) to find a few warmer things to wear.
NSV: Everything that I took to try on was size Medium and fit perfectly! No multiple trips back and forth to the dressing room. First time in many years that I didn't mind trying on clothes in the store!

    Have a great week!

Cucumber soup- another dose of vegetables.
Good for those suffering from water retention. Good for cutting down calorie intake. In short, good for weight loss.
Easy, quick to make. Very tasty. Can be eaten with anything.
I suffer from dairy allergy so I just used cucumbers, mint leaves, and 1/4 cup of soaked cashews. Turned out equally delicious.
