I need to start to really focus. Once work starts their holiday hours it will be hard to workout in the morning unless I wake up at 3. I wake up at 430 now to get in workouts and it can get demotivating.1 -
Welcome back, @jennigerding19 .
I'm struggling with focus and getting my workouts in as well. I'm thinking of splitting them up, doing 15-20 min in the morning, and 15-20 at night. Telling myself it's only 15 minutes can get me over the hump so I just go do it -- usually once I get started, I'll do the full workout. At least this is the plan this week.1 -

Oct 5 188 I know it’s from ovulating and starting workouts again. Hoping tomorrows weigh in will show something.
@ManifestingToday I do that also where I tell myself just 15/20 minutes and then it turns into a workout. I know now that I won’t get on the treadmill or bike at night. I tried that and just never panned out. I’m hoping if I pick up a couple Zumba classes at night I can get a friend to go with me to make me go lol. Good luck

Some weeks the weight seems to fall off easily, and some months there's barely a difference on the scale. It's so frustrating. But even if you're not seeing the number on the scale move, you're likely still losing weight, which might be noticeable if you're taking measurements. I have been on my journey since October of 2021. I am down 58 pounds and since then and have done a complete lifestyle change. I limit alcohol, exercise daily, and use MFP.4 -

Oct 6: 167.4 - I can’t believe I am still 167.x! But I’m not going to be disappointed and binge because I’m trusting the process and know the whoosh is coming. The weight is still going down which is better than maintaining or gaining so that’s positive. It’s my daughters bday today but I’m still going to stick to IF because it works for me. Wish me luck! And hopefully tomorrow I will break into the 166’s 😬😬😬2 -

Welcome, @aipfsu and @Celiyeah! Congrats to both of you on your inspiring success so far - I hope you find this group and others in the community help in your overall weight loss journey.
@9bhtn65nzj Sometimes at a plateau like you're experiencing, changing up your food a little might jumpstart your metabolism. You might need a little more protein, or to tweak something like the amount of fiber or fruit/veggies in your diet. Try searching "Plateau" on the main Community page and see if there are some suggestions that you can try. The number of hours you're sleeping can affect how quickly you lose too. I sleep pretty crappy most nights, something I'm trying to fix. If/when I sleep at least 7 hours I tend to see my weight go down more easily. I don't know if any of that helps - I'm not any kind of expert, but a lot of the threads on MFP will address this; it's common in most weight loss journeys. Just hang in there. And I hope your daughter has a good birthday.

Thanks for your kind words of advice. Yes I’ve had bad sleep most of this week and lower protein than normal in my diet so will address those two points this weekend and hopefully kick start next week off in a better position 🤓2 -

Oct 7: 166.6 - over the moon to have finally moved into the 166’s!!! Coincidentally had an amazing nights sleep last night. Slow and steady is fine as long as it’s going down and not up. Really focused on my water intake yesterday so that clearly helped to get the scales moving 🤣🤣🤣.

And yes, the down/up/down of weight loss can be frustrating, but if one can look past that and see the long term trend is downward, it makes it a little easier.

Oct 7: 166.6 - over the moon to have finally moved into the 166’s!!! Coincidentally had an amazing nights sleep last night. Slow and steady is fine as long as it’s going down and not up. Really focused on my water intake yesterday so that clearly helped to get the scales moving 🤣🤣🤣.
