I should have been at an 8 lb total loss for the challenge (4 pounds per month) and am coming in at a 5.6 lb overall loss so far. I’m happy but could certainly have been happier. I will work harder in October and I will stay away from all candy dishes as best as I can!

It was WHAM and I was off my ‘health plan’ overeating for 4 days and gaining weight quickly. But after jogging my memory I implemented two big motivational reminders, forgive yourself and celebrate each day’s journey.
So today, I challenged myself to stay in-range with salt and calories.

I have regained a few lbs since going off Wegovy a month ago and I must get back on track. I am not gaining all that weight back! Nothing tastes that good.

Finally yesterday, I had a good day. I was in calorie range. These up-and-downs are upsetting. Thanks for being understanding, while I battle my old habits.

10/03-186.2-(Trend Weight: 188.7)- Yesterday was one of those days that I just couldn’t get enough food. I kept poking in “approved foods” and managed to stay under my calorie goal but was over by 4 carbs and I was pretty high in sodium. I wish I could say that I drank plenty of water or slept good but I would be lying. I am already super extra hungry upon waking again this morning. It’s going to be a L…O…N…G day.

Inching back down. This is my lowest weight since mid-July and I'm hoping this 3 week trend continues. Next week is both my birthday and my anniversary and I know I'll be eating out at least twice.
I recently switched to a different app for tracking, one that tracks many, many more nutrients and I feel like it is more accurate since I don't think users can save custom foods to the general database. I can still add a food if it's not in the database but it only saves to my own custom foods. We'll see how it goes. I plan to continue using MFP to log my total calories/exercise each day since I prefer the MFP reports. The MFP community forums are much better as well.

10/10-183.2-(Trend Weight: 187.1)- I’ve done particularly well this week. Way better than usual for sure. What has helped the most is no travel this past week and therefore, no restaurants. I ramped up my exercise and began eating later in the day so that my dinner ends up pretty late and there is no need for those night time snacks (that I have a hard time controlling.) I’m still experimenting with the zig-zagging of both my calories and my carbs as well. It seems to be keeping the scale moving without stalls or plateaus so far. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”, so I will stay the course. I am below my October goal which, quite honestly, never happens.

@deepwodslady your post about how eating dinner later has helped with snacking. You jogged my memory of something I tried and will try again.
It's starting your 'daily calorie count' at night. This helped me with overeating because the next day I could see what 'calories' I had left for my breakfast and lunch.

A small loss despite eating restaurant food 3x during the week. This is my lowest weight since mid-July and I'm hoping this trend continues. I believe the app that I am now using to track my calories, macros/micros, and exercise is helping since the database is more accurate.
