Do you have a decent blender? Smoothie. I sometimes throw in some frozen pineapple, a mandarin orange fruit cup into the blender. If I want it to be less thick, I'll add water or low-carb milk (an ounce or ounce and half). If you want it really sweet, add some Splenda. It makes about 24 ounces. It's sweet and fruity. Great on a cold day. If I'm feeling like I need a bit more healthy stuff, I put in some ground flaxseed. If you want to cut calories, you can replace the milk/water and some of the pineapple with banana. Banana are sweet and work well in smoothies. I'm just allergic.

Depending on what you put in the smoothie--calories vary.
    • Mandarin orange cup with full fruit juice---70 calories.
    • Medium banana-- 105 calories
    • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple is 105 calories.
    • 1 cup of frozen mixed berries is 80 calories.
    • Splenda is five calories or less depending on amount.
    • CarbMaster Milk 2 ounces--20 calories.
    • Water --zero calories

Mix and match until you find what you like.
Don't want to make a smoothie? Okay.

    V8 SPLASH DRINK
For quick fruit, I will get some Diet V8 Splash. It is a mix of veggie and fruits. Tastes like fruit juice. The diet only comes in Berry Blend or Tropical. It is 5 Calories for 8 ounces. Go with tropical.

The non-diet is about 60 calories for 8 ounces (fruit medley is a favorite). It has carrot juice, fruit, and more. Sometimes this helps me sneak in some veggies. Is it the healthiest? No, but it is no the worst thing either.

    FRUIT CUPS

You can get regular or sugar free. The full sugar one is 50 to 70 calories depending on the fruit.

    COOKED CINNAMON APPLES

or https://www.melaniecooks.com/healthy-fried-apples/23272/ (no butter simplified recipe)
This recipe makes a lot--you may want to cut that down. You can skip the apple juice and use a mix of splenda and water to lGower calories. Won't be as good but won't be horrible.

I use frozen "Cherry Berry Blend" it is strawberries, cherries, and blueberries from Walmart and add it to oatmeal.
1 serving of the frozen "cherry berry blend" 70 calories
    1 serving rolled oats(I use Bob's Redmill) 190 calories
1 serving organic coconut sugar 40 calories
1/2 serving Bob's Redmill Flaxseed Meal 35 calories
335-350 calories then I add an Ensure Max Protein for another 150 calories for a 500 calorie breakfast.

Here is a recipe I've used for strawberry salsa and fish. I didn't pan fry the fish, but used my grill outside. And it goes very well with Salmon, or Tuna steaks.

I am not the OP but I found this information very helpful. Never ever thought about those little fruit cups.

They have sugar free ones too--but I they are a treat for me so I go for the ones with real fruit juice in them. :)

It looks delicious, and I'm sure it would be great with grilled salmon or tuna steaks.
