    👋

@deepwodslady your post about how eating dinner later has helped with snacking. You jogged my memory of something I tried and will try again.
It's starting your 'daily calorie count' at night. This helped me with overeating because the next day I could see what 'calories' I had left for my breakfast and lunch.
    Here's to your Fabulous week 💞 🥂

@200Karen That is very interesting because it may cut down on snacking for sure. I am going to give this idea a try. I am even going into my goals and settings and changing it in my diary. It allows you to change the name of each time slot. My first one, for example, will no longer say breakfast. It will say 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM which is my typical later dinner. My "lunch" slot will now say my first meal of the day times My third slot will say my second meal of the day times and my last slot will simply say snacks. I am going to try it for at least 2 weeks unless it drives my OCD crazy lol. It could potentially make a big difference. Brilliant! Thanks for sharing!

Slowing inching down, 1.7 lbs over the past 4 weeks.
I expect that I won't make my 4 lb goal but I'll take it.

However, even better than the weight loss, I had my annual physical yesterday and my test results were great! My LDL and total cholesterol both dropped by another 19 points and my blood sugar level dropped by another 6 points. A1C is now below pre-diabetic range and all my results were normal. My PA was thrilled with my progress.

@GinLee61 That is such Wonderful News! This is hard work paying off! Congratulations!

Checking in to read posts 👋

I've been overeating for 3-days but that's NOW over and last night was a herbal tea night. This kept me in calorie range 🥳
Today to rid my overload of sodium, I'll kick up the cardio with a walk outside. Hope to see you on the trail 🏃🏼‍♀️ 🏄‍♂️ 🐾

@GinLee61 Big Congratulations!! Great job with your health journey. What a reward seeing your lab results. Here's to you and your continuing success 🥂

    💞 Karen

That happens! Sometimes, your stress level just kicks it up a notch. You crave salt and snacks. You'll be fine. Hit the trail and enjoy!

@GinLee61 Slowly but surely, you're inching down. Bravo! That's more sustainable to do it slowly.

@deepwoodslady Restaurant food gets me every time. You'll get back on track.
On Sundays, my husband and I get out a list we made of our common favorite meals that we cook. I made copies of this list, so on Sundays, we circle what we want to make this week, and then make a grocery list. We also take turns cooking and eat leftovers as well.

@cpanus I love how you put down "grandson duty" on your posts. I can see you are a very devoted grandparent!!

Do you like going to a trainer?
I used to go but it was soooo expensive. I was paying $600 a month. I thought that was a lot. And I didn't lose a pound but I sure did get muscles and looked healthier. And sometimes, the trainer wouldn't show up. He was renting a small gym and had another job. I would sit outside the gym and wait and wait and then text him "Where are you?" He'd reply- oh I forgot. Hence to say I stopped going to him after 3 months. He was a nice guy but unreliable.

Since I got on the scale last week and posted my entry into the 190s, I have been scared to get back on it. This past week, we had some birthday celebrations in the family, so I overate and had too much sugar. In a few days, I'll weigh once my body gets back to normal.
