false, but as teenagers my brothers and I (and friends) used boards/plywood to dam up one or more of the chutes of an irrigation canal's waterfall to form a whirlpool, a practice that the local irrigation district did not appreciate.

False (it's on my bucket list), but I'm currently hiking the Appalachian trail virtually on my Garmin watch, having finished virtually hiking 15 other well known places ranging from the Great Wall of China to the Camino de Santiago. (These virtual expeditions are just a way of measuring progress in your day-to-day steps.)

TNP has walked the Camino de Santiago (I haven't, but a good friend has)
